One Greenway (Parcel 24) | 0 Kneeland Street | Chinatown

Re: One Greenway - Chinatown Parcel 24 Hideous. I hate that glass (elevator?) spine. The color is all wrong - orange? Turn it back on its side and send it back to the Florida office park it came from.

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development The amazing thing about all this is that it's all being done in the same 1840s-style vernacular, even down to the random intermixing of wood and brick buildings. Would've preferred brick and brownstone only, but not complaining about this relative to the Seaport.

    Downtown Crossing/Financial District | Discussion

Downtown Crossing needs authority compelling landlords to rent out storefronts for below market rates far more than it needs graffiti removal or tourist ambassadors. Maybe the tax will finally drive them to recoup some loss on their empty property.

Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) in Dorchester?

Gets talked up everywhere; gets actually implemented nowhere.

    Future Skyline

Now let's see downtown, with Millennium, the TD Towers and the Congress Street Garage?

    The New Retail Thread

I wish the city would give Marketplace Center a few feet of sidewalk space (or, heaven forbid, reduce a traffic lane on the surface artery so the sidewalk could be left at the same width) to add on a new facade, which it could finance by adding floors...

Copley Place Expansion and Tower | Back Bay

Re: Copley Place plan calls for condo tower My god it's so beautiful. Tears in eyes. The brick sidewalk (can't remember if it's actually brick there or just looks that way in the render) has to go though. Clashes with too much with the bold modernity of the new building.

Cape Cod Rail, Bridges and Highways

Re: Boston to Cape rail That full car ad is a good idea. Does the route pass anywhere by Route 3? The tease during jams would be great.

    Fan Pier Developments | Seaport

Is there a render for this condo beyond the vague views of Fan Pier in general that've been bandied about many times?

    The New Retail Thread

Not enough. That facade needs more than a few windows and doors punched through the bare brick wall.

    Future Skyline

Is that massing correct? These new towers both look so slim!

South End Infill and Small Developments

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

    Waterside Place 1A | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

Re: Waterside Place For the record, not everyone is giving three cheers to the Greenway. Some pretty, well-framed pictures on aB and you all forget the fact that it's lined by massive surface streets, contains offensive ramp parcels and rarely achieves any of the "stitching" that was promised...
