Here's the spitball plan for threading in the new tracks from the document F-line linked earlier. It requires shortening platform E a bit to give the room required to snake in the lead track for the new platform past Spaulding.

Just curious here, is the Bowdoin Loop the only thing preventing Orange Line rolling stock from running on the Blue Line?

When I took a walking tour of bridges in the area, the guide mentioned that building, said that there was some kind of reaction between the concrete pilings and the seawater that rotted the piles. BTW, I note that this SF tower is a Millennium tower. It's not the same Millennium in Boston, is it?

It's nice how the distance of the green Bolyston/Tufts/SS loop is minimized on that map, reducing the amount it appears to double back.

Only the roads directly leading to the bridges were elevated before.

A couple streets were raised before but it wasn't the whole grid.

That's already the case for a couple buildings in NY.

LA would actually be a good example to follow. They passed a dedicated sales tax for subway and transit expansion, and are building lots of new subways now.

Re: North-South Rail Link The fill goes down to bedrock supposedly. Logan transfers are better addressed by getting on the Silver line at South Station, which goes directly to the terminals. Travelers transferring to the Blue line still have to get a shuttle from the Airport stop which is some...

None of the other garages on the Greenway are blocking the waterfront though. I would support a redev of the Beach st garage though. Yech.

There's also the crackpot proposals, like the Glendale OL spur and Saugus DMU. I do like the River's Edge OL infill though.
