Port of Portland | Working waterfront and future developments

Disgusting. For s city that prides itself on being ultra liberal and fights for every social cause under the sun....Portland sure doesn't seem to mind that its residents (both rich and poor) are breathing in this crap way too often.

Rock Row (née The Ridge, née Dirigo Plaza) | Westbrook, ME

The Quarryside marketing video on their website is embarrassingly lowbrow.....a bunch of junky shipping containers on dusty dirt and actors drinking beer and playing cornhole......good grief.

I don’t trust airlines…non-stop guarantees that you will step off the plane at your destination. The bus ride to Logan is painless and convenient.

I guess that I’ll have to keep taking the Jet Blue non-stop out of BOS then.

Portland Foreside | 58 Fore Street | Portland

I don’t have a problem with height restrictions in this particular area…I think that it’s important to protect the top of Munjoy Hill…and sightlines going both ways. I get the whole NIMBY thing, but in this case I’m siding with them. Some iconic areas and features of the penninsula are worth...

Potential Soccer Stadium | Portland peninsula

Tracks around football and soccer fields stink....period. Even the University of Maine plans to remove the track from Alfond Stadium (football) to improve sightlines and atmosphere....and build a another one in a new location.

    Lewiston, Maine's second largest city.

The placement of stuff like this blocking scenic views and taking up valuable waterfront permeates the entire state. Notice how many old cemeteries have the best views....lol. Hopefully we are at a time and place where new developments are smarter in this regard.
