Hey guys…went down to Costco the other day. Are there any plans to widen Payne Rd between Hannaford and Costco? What is it…1 mile (or less)? Come on Scarborough…the area and traffic is growing quickly! It’s a ridiculous little stretch to travel.

P.S. - A couple of sleek 30 story buildings would do wonders for that skyline.

I've resigned myself to the fact that most new development in Portland not named Redfern is fugly....and cheap looking. Portland wants to be a big boy but is still a toddler in many regards.

I road the Downeaster for the first time last month down to Boston for the Hockey East tourney at TD Garden. Was a good experience and very convenient to where I was going (North Station). I will say however that they could use some new trains....sat in business class which was roomy and...

It was a big mistake for Rock Row to not develop residential buildings after their initial retail development with Market Basket, etc.

That seems to happen a lot in Maine.

Community Center, artsy fartsy, etc = fail Restaurants, bars & shops that people actually want = succes. And yes…buld some upscale townhomes/condos…they would sell like hot cakes!
