Look at how those units are laid out....horrible. Low rise...low income....on prime land. You could easily house all of those people in 1/4 of that land...in nice new mid-rise units.

I guess this is all about personal preference. I have documented on here before....and will one last time. I recently took a flight to from Logan to San Diego.....took Concord bus out of Portland to Logan. I have to drive to Portland one way or another so we are starting off equal there...

Oh good god. Donate those things to the Wild Animal Park in Gray. I actually like the lobster buoy tree as a stand alone holiday decor piece. I'd love to see a multi-media sensory experience at the Jetport....a short walk-through or room with ocean, lake and mountain vistas.....and pipe in...

You'd think that housing would be in demand in this area....at the confluence of I-295 and the Maine Turnpike....in the middle of Maine's largest retail area.......duh! Get it done developers!

Not really. I take a bus to Logan because financially and convenience wise it make sense. I'm not being forced to take a city bus which can compromise both health and safety. I do realize that the bus/bike mafia in Portland is very powerful though.

Are people signing leases based on whether this is called the John Ford Building.....or the Beyonce Building?

Why aren't they formulating a plan for this entire complex? This could be a great residential/retail development with parking garages shrinking the need for surface lots.....sigh.

The Town Center could have been Maine's Walnut Creek (CA)....sigh.
