Am I mistaken, or does this NOT include the vast parking lot across Brookline Ave.. If not, is there any word on that project? Combine that with this and everything Samuels, and the Fenway will be another city unto itself. I love it.
Keep in mind this is 2 1/2 miles from city hall. Outside...
"Adjacent to the Ink Block". 🤔Umm..."seperated by highway infrastructure...". 😂 Yeah, that highway infrastructure...it puts them in a different zip code and congressional district...
With actual cladding going up, this looks like something of a dark horse in the market. I mean that in a good way though. If I had money and didn't want to show it, this might be the place to "live" in Boston. The location is so gnarly. I think I'm in love.
I seem to be ok with this, except for one small(large) detail. The fence around the green space. Why is it so intimidating? In what context does this area need defensive architecture? That thing is going to be expensive to install properly...what about a few more trees and some hedges?
I, like many, see this every day. If we can call North Station done now, South Station done in 5-10 years, then I have high hopes for Back Bay in 10-15. This is just the first project. The station itself next and then the tower at the mall will absolutely transform the area.

I am in total agreement with you that zoozs are an anachronism. I do not believe a tiger belongs in Franklin Park for any reason. But I also believe that zoo's do do important work keeping many endangered species alive, and that the science done at zoo's is very important.
Financials aside...
I used both phrases. I wished they would of because they should of....the whole point was I was wishing...like I said, I like the project even without my suggestion. Come on guy...or is that not proper...
This is what I don't understand. It seems completely natural to me for there to be a 500 foot residential building in Kendall. The views at the top would be the best in BOTH cities!
I grew up in Concord, MA, all hoidy-toidy and stuff...the 99 Restaurant in W. Concord was just always great. I don't know why more people don't realize that for a burger and a tall beer there are few better "chains". They used to do a blooming onion...👍
I really like this proposal, especially the quality of the cladding. Per the picture, though, I wish that they chose to make this two buildings, and have one as tall as 118 Huntington right behind this stately building on St Boltoph. It would of provided superior egress for the neighborhood...
I'm 42. My girlfriend lived at 53 Salem St. when we were 19. It's not a boomer thing. We used to buy our Christmas tree underneath the artery...things are different...
