I used to work next door at 75/101 Federal for 15 years and this lobby looks very similar to the "connector" lobby at 75/101 which back in the day used to have restaurants, dry cleaning, convenience store etc. and also of course connects from Federal to Devonshire.

Anyone who has shopped at both the Chestnut Hill Wegmans and the Natick one, know full well that the Chestnut Hill location is much more of a logistical nightmare in terms of getting in and out of the store and lot. I have shopped at each over 50 times and would take Natick over Chestnut Hill...

Front half looks just like the Southwest livery (edit: now I see Equilibria noted the same above)

I receive a lot of commercial real estate marketing materials and as recently as a week ago they were still heavily marketing office space at the old cinema. I would be surprised if they stop at the this point. WS has a lot invested at The Street.

Not sure I understand this comment. If you park on the second floor of the garage, you can access Wegmans without ever setting foot in any other portion of the mall or even crossing any street to enter/exit for that matter. Your comment on issues with the layout of the store is accurate.

There is already a grocery store currently under construction in Shopper's World (an Amazon Fresh).

And to be on brand, it should be closed during peak times, have no working elevator/escalator, smell like urine, and all employees miserable and rude.

Maybe if they take long enough to take down the garage, we will get something better than more lab space. Wishful thinking, I know.

The real issue is no one thinks to go to a mall for grocery shopping even for a Wegmans. And there are logistical issues for mall shoppers to also do their grocery shopping while at the mall. Do you go before you shop at the other stores? If so, what do you do with your groceries? Leave...

Wait, the restaurant is only open until 9pm or the bar? Or both? If the bar closes at 9pm that is the height (pun intended) of stupidity.

Will you be able to have a drink in the bar without paying the admission fee?

Can they at least power wash that disgusting post office building if they are never going to move?

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Anecdotal only for sure, but I rarely hear about people from around here going to BC in the summer for non-Alaska cruise travel. But I do often hear about people from the Boston area going out there to ski or for summer cruises. Maybe it's just the company I keep.

I hope I am wrong but I doubt "modernization" in this context = a new terminal C or even new piers. This seems like it may be more like a lipstick on a pig situation.

The seasonal service to Vancouver should be in the winter for us skiers! This must be Alaska cruise traffic.

Lots of entertainment setting up shop in the Seaport between this, the darts place, mini-golf, Kings, ping pong place, new movie theater etc. Love it.

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Has anyone stayed at a Raffles hotel? How does it compare to Four Seasons, Mandarin, Ritz etc? If price is comparable or higher as the Globe article suggests, will anyone pick Raffles over the Four Seasons or Mandarin? Locations are similar so that should not be a factor.
