Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Curious why people these times are not great. Maybe business travelers who want to get in super early for meetings? I don't travel to Europe for business and don't care for the flights that arrive in Europe at 6am, sometimes leaving me as long as 9-10 hours to kill before I can check in to my...

Did I read elsewhere that they are doing away with the JFK flights to and from ORH once they add Orlando?

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

I took the Level flight roundtrip between Logan and Barcelona per-pandemic and it was fine with no issues. My parents took it last summer and there was a mechanical problem on the return and they had to stay in Barcelona an extra night. But I think it is worth the dice roll for the non-stop...

"The Beat" | 135 Morrissey (Boston Globe Site) | Dorchester

Or lab focused projects are the only projects developers can get financing for and they rather build lab developments than no developments. The real question is what do those that are financing these projects know?

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

I read the slots they got were terrible times. I think I heard it was a 1:00am departure. Can anyone confirm? Also, I think the slots are somehow only guaranteed for one year.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Not going to happen. The World Cup is played in large stadiums (usually 50,000+ capacity) not the 25,000 or so capacity "soccer specific" stadiums.

I don't mind the horizontal and vertical red striping but am not a huge fan of the diagonal red stripe.

Strange to me that Norse is not starting Logan flights until the busy summer travel season is pretty much over.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

While I doubt HOA fees in a brand new luxury building are ever a value proposition, there can be some decent perks to help offset part of the costs. Like fitness and spa facilities. work space, concierge/doorman, private dining etc. You may not value those amenities but many others living...

    11-21 Bromfield Street | DTX | Downtown

I'll never understand the hype over Bromfield Street (Silvertone excluded). I probably missed the boat though. I went to Suffolk Law from 1998-2001 and there are storefronts on Bromfield that were empty when I started at Suffolk and are STILL empty today. I'm no retail expert but if you can't...

Riverside Development | 333 Grove Street | Newton

How far did you zoom out to locate 6-7 golf courses "in the vicinity" of Riverside? I see Woodland, Pine Brook and Leo Martin within what I would say is a 10 minute drive from Riverside in normal traffic conditions. One of those 3 is a public course. I'd like to see some comparisons to other...

The last thing that came from Walla Walla to New England did ok so maybe this memorial will surprise. If not, perhaps it can be replaced by something younger and better looking.

MGM Music Hall (née Fenway Theater) | 12 Lansdowne St | Fenway

I agree. With two large music venues, this area could benefit from a smaller music venue (perhaps 200-400 capacity) for smaller shows. It was not a great setup by an means but I remember when Bill's Bar used to host smaller bands many years ago.
