Leggat McCall | BHA Bunker Hill | Charlestown

    i like. facade less random.

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

Its not the style I would pick, but its definitely not the worst of whats going up, and this is the perfect location for that much denisty. At least its not several different facades. Also 695 units is awesome!!! Horay high rises that actually achieve some density in stead of empty sky...

    Channelside (née P&G) | 244-248 A Street | Fort Point

Like the massing changes. Dislike but dont hate the facade changes. Randomer and cheaper than initial renders but way better than most recent development. These should be handsome additions to the city.

Canopy by Hilton (née Haymarket Hotel) | Blackstone St | Parcel 9 | Greenway

Mostly im a yimby. Sometimes i'm a nimby. Haymarket has a lot of nice memories for me. And it kinda gave a feeling of permanence/continuity because it had a lot of nice memories for my mom too. (ditto filenes basement.) This project makes me sad . . . I know haymarket will still be there ...

ACC/NU Residence Hall | 840 Columbus Ave | Northeastern University

I like the new massing better. And the facade looks less random.

MGH Ragon Building | 55 Fruit Street | West End

Agreed. Its not a random alcubond monstrocity. The facade isnt BAD. But the massing is very agressive for that location. People move to Boston and fall in love. But not with this.

    119 Braintree Street | Allston

This looks awesome. Never thought of it, but giant physical wall is actually pretty smart urbanist solution to highway, and way cheaper than decking.

Faulkner Hospital Inpatient Addition | 1153 Centre Street | Jamaica Plain

Is it that small hospitals arent viable? I think the issue is that big hospitals are buying the small hospitals in order to reduce competition and raise prices. Partners seems like its doing just fine.

Faulkner Hospital Inpatient Addition | 1153 Centre Street | Jamaica Plain

I think hospitals somewhat create their own demand. Dr's always advising people they need more scans more tests. Then the tests discover tiny growths and there needs to be surgeries. Hospitals keep growing and sucking out more and more of our economy, and yet our life expectancy is the same...

321 Harrison Ave | South End

Yeah. I didnt think I would be wow about this but drove by couple days ago and it looks awesome.

Riverside Development | 333 Grove Street | Newton

    Wow. That looks awesome!

Hanover Everett | Second & Vine | Everett

I love the honesty and boldness of their plan. Way ahead of any other town I have seen in terms of allowing, even encouraging contextual and in many places largescale developments.

Mildred Hailey (Bromley Heath) BHA Redevelopment | Jackson Square | Jamaica Plain

Urbanism and design is an A+. And I like that there is no reduction in affordable units. I do question why they couldent have put a few high rises on some of the interior lots? I wonder if its a local politics thing or a cost of construction thing?

    Channelside (née P&G) | 244-248 A Street | Fort Point

LOVE the architecture. Meh on the massing. Hate the plan (why is no one building housing? I guess that's a different bigger issue.). Wish they had maybe made a nicer seaside park that people would actually use instead of that pointless block park that will be shaded half the day and the...

Jan Karski Way Extension | Dorchester

Yeah - this project looks great. Rooting for anything marginally contextual. We need urban fabric - not cheap plastic and random gimmicks.

Stop and Shop Mixed Use | 1690 Revere Beach Parkway | Everett

This is maybe the most exciting area in the region right now. I think I read that whole area of Everett is now zoned as of right for large developments like this.

The Bon | 1260 Boylston Street | Fenway

Its not exactly wishing it into being. I think the idea is it will be the space for the gold dust orphans theatre group which already exist. But yes, overall another sad moment for shrinking gay life in Boston. But the additional housing is great and will be pretty dense.

Suffolk Downs Redevelopment | East Boston/Revere

I like Bernie but I hate his housing policy. At least Liz talks somewhat about zoning reform.

Wentworth Dorm | 630 Huntington Ave | Fenway

Disagree. Worked at Wentworth back in the day. The demographic crunch is worse in New England than nationwide. So it is the local schools that are getting crushed. Wentworth so far avoided that by creating a short cut to middle class life for poor or academically weak local students. Lowish...
