    Biking in Boston

Woah that's awesome! Seems pretty cheap, and it's helpful that you can pause rentals Very nice, I'm a fan. Has anyone here tried this out? @ceo, maybe this is your solution?

    Biking in Boston

This got me thinking, I wonder if we'll ever see a cargo bike share as an option in a city. I doubt it would be feasible, but there are some wacky ideas out there. Maybe UHaul offering cargo bikes is the first step.

I like the insinuation that every hour in Massachusetts is sad when there is no happy hour.

NYC City Council Shifts Broker Fees From Renters to Landlords

You're acting like Brokers are an integral part of the rental service, but they really aren't. Obviously there will still brokers in New York City if this bill passes. New York is in an interesting place right now, where there is a clear leader in NYC apartment hunting (StreetEasy, who is...

    Elevated Rail: Boston and Beyond

As lovely as this would be, I think elevated train lines would probably have more pushback than at-grade or subway lines.

NYC City Council Shifts Broker Fees From Renters to Landlords

Big shoutout to Chi for this! He's been pushing this for at least a year, and I think most renters in NYC are optimistic about this passing.

    Biking in Boston

I think this might be a street where drivers would appreciate a bus lane. If you're driving on Morton St, you really don't want to be in that right lane with the bus stopping so often.

    Biking in Boston

What is the car traffic like for the Morton St/Blue Hills intersection right now? I know that used to spew cars from the Flames/24 Hour Pizza side of Morton St, but with the deconstruction of the Casey overpass it may be less now. Also, is that 24 Hour Pizza front still on that corner? Always...

    Biking in Boston

I really don't see this changing gentrification and rising rents in Mattapan. It's going to take a lot of work for those who would gentrify to look past the "Murderpan" nickname/reputation that still haunts the neighborhood.

    1280-1330 Boylston Street, Brookline

Makes sense they're going to cut most of the height for Building C, the Heath side presents more neighborhood NIMBY problems. Is that a height increase for building B or did the original render just not include it from this view?

    The Official MBTA System Map

Totally see you on finding the balance. I think it would be better to just fix charlesgate rather than have to fix it on your map, they're kind of assholes for doing that to you. Mt Auburn Cemetery draws a good amount of people not looking to pay respects. I know it's big in the birding...

    Design a Better Franklin Park

Lol I honestly had to look up where that was, I can't believe I didn't know that was near Middlesex Fells. Makes sense that Franklin Parks other zoo would be worse. Honestly I think Buttonwood Park Zoo might be the nicer Zoo in the state. But it would make a lot of sense to put a nature center...

    142-146 St. Mary’s street | Fenway

I'm not sure who the intended residents are, but considering there are a lot of BU students in that neighborhood, and drunk students love throwing things off of heights, I'm sure there is a possibility they may have to deal with some projectiles.

    The Official MBTA System Map

I don't know if anyone has commented on it before, but I love the inclusion of parks, esp. the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Makes it feel like it has more presence in the city than the reality of it actually being a park in the city. Would you include the green of the Comm Ave Mall? It's a bit thin...

    Design a Better Franklin Park

I'm not sure if I see the need for a overhaul of the Zoo, or even the continued presence of the Zoo as it stands today. The Franklin Park Zoo has always felt a little shabby; it hasn't made any "best of" lists that I can find, when people are in town I never think of recommending the Zoo as a...

    Commuter Rail to New Hampshire?

I know New Hampshirites who think taxes for things like roads and schools are stupid, they already have enough. Anything that increases taxes for a good for the public would be a fight.

Bill Russell Bridge | North Washington St.

Even more of a reason to change it then.

Bill Russell Bridge | North Washington St.

I'll always have a soft spot for Yawkey Way and other centers named after Tom/the family but it 100% had to go and was an important moment for the city in that regard. And now we are left with a street name that should totally be changed to something that will mean more. I get the players wear...

Bill Russell Bridge | North Washington St.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. I remember when Tim Wakefield died people were discussing renaming Jersey St. to Wakefield Way, but there was some law saying that someone needs to be gone for a certain amount of time. Maybe it was easier to rename an extension, esp when that extension's name was...
