Why doesn't Boston just start small pocket neighbourhoods near transit or build new transit to it. Less big shadows, less nimby complaints, sprawl on transit to not over load the system. Like Assembly, North Point, Lower Allston, etc.
All this talk about FAA height limits from Logan heading through Boston has not one engineer or architect came up with the simple big while in the tower. Height fetished get their height and Logan doesn't lose anything.
How the crowd sizes are for each game is really unknown as is anything new to the area but with how popular soccer is world wide and the fact that most current fans will be living closer and the new stadium will have better transit access(buses, close subway stop vs a commuter rail stop that...
Frequencies Frequencies Frequencies!!!
That's the biggest sell. Even if it takes 2 or 10 minutes longer for a trip as long as the rider is moving they won't feel they are wasting time in their commute.
When I commuted from Malden Center to the LMA I would take either the OL switch at NS to...
I just hope the amenities in these new buildings are centrally located cause otherwise they might want to look into building their own train lines just to get the residents to the building's gym. :)
The T maybe broken but at least you can choose from the E GL or the OL or the Commuter Rail or one of the more frequent buses vs sitting in slow traffic trying to find a close enough parking spot that won't empty your bank account.
While the connector could have been alot better I think we really lucked out not getting an observation deck and all the popularity the city would have pushed with it. I'm hoping the next sky deck will be on the tallest tower in Boston, since no more Hancock, here's to something even higher. :)
What he said ^^^^. I wanted to ask why not after all the facts F-Line said but I was too lazy to note it. So again after all that F-Line stated about studies and facts is there another reason than what you answered with before? Thank you for your response. :)
I'd like to see 2 thin residential towers, one on each side from the front of south station at some point in the future just like I'd like to see 2 or 3 residential towers over the tracks at North station in the future. These huge transit hubs need to be used better.
At first I was really disappointed with how bland and simple the renders seem considering what Gillette looks and functions. But after thinking about it Kraft is a pretty smart business man and might be testing out how this investment can work. Simple, small, and basic stadium could be easily...
People I was trying to make a joke, though my landing apparently hit some trees, then fell off a cliff into the ocean where it kept floating to the top only to sink again and again.
Maybe that render was type of subliminal message where they were hoping all Massholes would approve of this...
I randomly think of this idea but never posted the idea cause im not sure if someone else already did. If money wasn't an issue could we technically create a little bend on the Red Line between Broadway and South Station so that we could create an infill stop between them that gets riders...
Ugly and bland but we badly need more housing so build baby build and anything this height that gets built in this city can only help with future projects reaching for the sky instead of bowing down to the nimbys like always. So again Build Baby Build!!!🥳
I would have thought to Advertise the location as nestled between Back Bay and Fenway Neighborhoods so to make it seem like the location has twice to offer. But what do I know I'm an engineer so I'm much better with numbers than letters. 🙃
