Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

I think you could make the following changes: Parcel H (the future church): Had a formal groundbreaking. Maybe change to UC? (Though there has been no activity here since.) Parcel D: I think this is the current church and will be developed as shown. Parcel Q (the park): Done. Parcel J (the...

    100 Pier 4 | 136-146 Northern Avenue | Seaport

Re: Pier 4 Residential Tower | 136-146 Northern Avenue | Seaport The interiors look cheap relative to the asking rents. 5-6 years ago I rented units from owners in some of the condo buildings that went up in the run up to 2007 by Broadway Station. Macallen, CSP. Those units are far, far...

NEMA Boston | 399 Congress St. | Seaport

Re: Residences at 399 Congress St (formerly Madison Seaport Hotel) Good - I'd like to see a lot more condos in the seaport - but hopefully they do not cut down on the unit count too much or at all. IIRC, the city is requiring them to construct a decent-sized component of micro-units. I wonder...

    171 Tremont Street | Downtown

Re: 171 Tremont Street Agree. This building is going to be straight out of Manhattan in terms of who can afford to live there. 31 units seems so small for the size.

    171 Tremont Street | Downtown

Re: 171 Tremont Street The condo fees will be outrageous! ~350ft building with elevator(s), presumably a door staff, other typical "lux" amenities, maintenance staff, window washing, and so on....divided roughly by 31? I'd ball park it at $10K a unit, per month.

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Ah, the long rumored death of Cornerstone was true. Where will the MBTA employees hold their retirement parties? What are those who need to use a pay phone expected to do? Didn't see any of this addressed in the PNF!

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Re: The Boston Arch (Aquarium parking garage) Maybe I'm an architecture/design/urban planing bumpkin but I walk by this very spot most mornings with the dog and basically dream the towers have already been built and look approximately just like that, massing and all. I wish someone would buy...

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

I would think that Four Seasons having signed on to lease a large portion of the building would be enough to get this off the ground.

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

I'm ecstatic that they are putting in a theater for adults in the city. They have them outside the metro area and it's a great way to watch a movie, go out on a date, whatever. My wife and I stopped going to Loews DTX because the kids there don't care if their cell phones are out or not, if...

Hook Wharf | 400 Atlantic Ave | Downtown

To all the points raised above re: parking and wholesale presence, I'd really like to see a Greenway-facing rendering. Is it me or does the building look like concrete with glass?

    Hyatt Place/Ora Seaport (née Parcel K) | 315 Northern Avenue | Seaport

Re: Parcel K Northern Avenue http://arrowstreetlive.com/2014/06/a-milestone-for-parcel-k/ Looks much more interesting than the main render we've all seen (directly) above.

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

That would be epic. Would stitch South End, Downtown and South Boston together, assuming Post Office finally leaves and that stretch of Dot Ave is (ideally) made a pedestrian/bicycle only area. And if Gillette would sell off all those empty lots...

One Canal (formerly Greenway Center) | Bullfinch Triangle | West End

Re: One Canal (formerly Greenway Center, Bullfinch Triangle) I have to admit all the renderings I've seen really throw me off as the building doesn't seem to fit in with the virtual streetscape and surrounding areas. Is the vantage point here Cross and Stillman in North End?

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

The images on the construction site fencing have Showplace Icon logos on them . . . and Icon did sign a lease to go into Parcel B. The logos on the above renders aren't inconsistent with what I've seen.

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Re: Innovation Dist. / South Boston Seaport It will be bordered/blocked by a HQ hotel on the south side and Waterside Place on the north. It seems to make sense that a parking garage would be necessary to provide parking spots for folks looking to go to the current (and future expanded)...

    Goodwin Procter HQ @ Fan Pier | 90 - 110 Northern Ave - Parcel I | Seaport

Re: Goodwin Procter HQ (Parcel I) @ Fan Pier | 90 - 110 Northern Ave | Seaport Steel already starting to fall into place, this one is starting to move faster it seems. It's hard to imagine another building between this one and the park, but that is how the master plan is set up.

101 Seaport Blvd (PwC) | Parcel L1@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: 101 Seaport Blvd (PwC)/parcel L1@Seaport Sq./Seaport Skin is starting to show up on this one, first floor above the pedestal facing Seaport Blvd.

101 Seaport Blvd (PwC) | Parcel L1@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: 101 Seaport Blvd (PwC)/parcel L1@Seaport Sq./Seaport I really like how it rises over the Children's Museum if you look at it from Atlantic Wharf/Intercontinental.
