    Goodwin Procter HQ @ Fan Pier | 90 - 110 Northern Ave - Parcel I | Seaport

Re: Goodwin Procter HQ (Parcel I) @ Fan Pier | 90 - 110 Northern Ave | Seaport It's supposed to be 17 stories. Isn't that a bit shorter than it's Fan Pier and Pier 4 neighbors?

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

Was outside walking the dog early yesterday. J. Derenzo dropped jersey barriers around parcels B, C and it looked like D as well (all the way up to the chapel) on seaport boulevard and northern avenue sides. Stopped one of the guys to ask what was going on and he said it was in anticipation of...

Twenty Two Liberty @ Fan Pier | 22 Liberty Drive - Parcel C | Seaport

Re: Twenty Two Liberty @ Fan Pier | 22 Liberty Drive | Seaport My working assumption has always been this gets done first and the shops in the two-story temporary structure next door move into the ground floor. Then the temp. structure gets leveled and the second building goes up.

Suffolk Downs Redevelopment | East Boston/Revere

Re: MA Casino Developments +1 Also, as good as an idea as it may sound for redevelopment of Suffolk Downs, for a large group of New Englanders and folks who used to live in the area, from Baby Boomers and before to the current generation, would find the notion of the Celtics not playing on...

Lol, Umbrella Corp. Would be just another day in Raccoon City.

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Re: Innovation Dist. / South Boston Seaport I think the papers have been reporting for well over a year that the building in each block will be 2-3 stories of retail and about +800 residential units sitting atop between the two. The master developer does not own the land any longer, Berkshire...

    315 on A | 315 A Street | Fort Point

Correct - You can access it by hanging a right on Boston Wharf Road by Row 34 and walking under the Summer Street bridge. I'm not sure whether you can access from A Street or not, but haven't tried.

    The New Retail Thread

Excellent. Sick of being faced w/choice of tasty burger and shakeshack and opting for former b/c too lazy to drive to Chestnut Hill. Nothing against TB at all. I've heard a SS is going into 101 Seaport as well.

AvalonBay Tower (Jacob Wirth's) | 45 Stuart Street | Downtown

Yeah you are right. I was thinking Rutland area but the skyline is clearly from BH angle.

AvalonBay Tower (Jacob Wirth's) | 45 Stuart Street | Downtown

+1 - With the old in the foreground, new in the background and the weather and lighting...think we have a contender here! P.S. I love the architecture of some of the homes in that area of the South End.

Ink Block (Boston Herald) | 300 Harrison Avenue | South End

Would add to the discussion that rental buildings become assets in a real estate investor's portfolio. So you can build something, get it rented out and sell it as an asset that kicks off an income stream, which is factored into its valuation. John Drew isn't going to simply sit on Waterside...

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

    (1) As previously posted, I've seen the official retail slides incorporating the tenants they are in advanced negotiations with. The quantity and quality of the stores, restaurants, exercise facilities and other entertainment venues will put the Pru mall to shame along with much of Boylston...

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

I love what is happening with this part of South Boston. Rumors I've heard around the neighborhood is Cornerstone sold to a developer and is next on the chopper. And the empty lot adjacent to it is set to be a 10+ story hotel I believe. Lots of dense residential coming in around A Street...

Ink Block (Boston Herald) | 300 Harrison Avenue | South End

Fair enough. I've never lived in Charlestown, but have noticed when visiting or driving through that the projects are numerous and sort of "sandwich" the neighborhood between Rutherford Ave and Medford Street. Are those places safe? Are they all low-income or are any mixed like Harborpoint...

Ink Block (Boston Herald) | 300 Harrison Avenue | South End

A 50K square foot Whole Foods should be in the urban dictionary under "gentrification game-changer" or whatever. Folks from Downtown, South Boston, South End and Back Bay will shop there over the small one in Beacon Hill/West End. The opening of that alone will raise a lot of abutting property...

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

Yes, the church is on Parcel D I believe. Related, the soil truck has been at Parcel H this past week, which is where the church is being relocated to.

Troy Boston (formerly Albany St Hotel) | 275 Albany Street | South End

Re: New Albany St Hotel | 275 Albany Street | South End The building skins arrived this morning and are currently parked on flatbeds in the right lane on Albany Street next to the project. I didn't have a camera. Silver/grey with a soft pattern of horizontal indentations. It's still pretty...

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

On the subject of the Seaport, I have the commercial leasing plans for Parcels B & C, the two apartment buildings that are supposed to break ground in June, plus 101 Seaport and Watermark Seaport. Three stories of retail at B & C, one to two stories at the others with absurdly high-end retail...

Agree. If it is 2/3s empty on September 1 than it may well be houston we have a problem.

    BCEC expansion | Seaport

To add to point 3, Fort Point Channel's restaurant boom, in my view, simply would not have happened to such a severe degree without the convention center and its pending expansion. Take Bastille Kitchen, an enormous french restaurant on Melcher Street opening in a few months. Or Smith and...
