Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District The narrow side will be no more narrow than Millennium tower and it has a wide side so I doubt people will claim that it just isn't that thin. The four seasons I could see as being more likely to get that reaction and I highly doubt very many people...

    Silver Line to Chelsea

The evidence shows that when people commit crimes they don't tend to be using transit if it is a major thing like a home robbery or something. As mentioned before the residences here are well protected from theft so the most likely crimes are shoplifting and the majority of shoplifting is done...

    Silver Line to Chelsea

I think his claim is that it is too expensive because the groundwater levels require major pump/drainage systems when tunnels are in filled land, but for such a short tunnel it seems to me that shouldn't be a project killer.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

I think Millennium tower was doing close to that at the peak of construction but it took awhile to get to the point.

Boston Landing | New Balance Complex | Brighton

They are two separate buildings a different render is used for each building and it has never been an either or situation I'm not sure where you got that. Hotel Residential Newest Site Plan Clearly these are different buildings and per the site plan are located across the street from each...

MassDOT Pike Parcels 12 - 15 | Boylston St. and Mass. Ave | Back Bay

This isn't that large a building compared to many others especially some nearby neighbors... like the Hancock building for example. It is relatively thin compared to many other buildings in Boston. It seems like you are reacting more to the change in an immediate negative way than actually on...

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

An architecture firm that was bought by Stantec a while back I don't remember exactly how long.

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

The floor plate is too big for a hotel for both of those buildings, but especially for this one. Hotels need smaller floor plates that are relatively skinny so that each room gets windows and space isn't wasted. A tower of this size and shape really only works with offices and not much else.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I would imagine it would work like the NYC subway where each trunk line has multiple routes.

401 Park Drive (née Landmark Center) | Fenway

Re: Landmark Center Expansion | Fenway The rendering reminds me of the North End park section of the greenway which seems pretty successful with people using it on most nice days at least when I have been there so I would expect this park to be used well and as others said it will be much nicer...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

It wouldn't include it the base picture they are using for the background doesn't even show One Canal so it isn't all that recent and like others said no point in adding other developers buildings in.

    🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

How is anything about that brutalist? I see a new glass addition to an old brick building... Also the addition would be going on an empty portion of the lot.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Could you please stop this we already established why this is all bs and I am tired of you bringing it up over and over. Also it really doesn't matter that much but it is really annoying to constantly see someone posting the same stuff over and over. Also DZH22 has spent time proving this over...

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

The silver line can and likely will be converted to light rail at some point in the future it may just not happen for a while.

    50 Liberty @ Fan Pier | 50 Liberty Drive | Seaport

I think it is to provide enough space on the balcony for it to be functional. They are pretty small as is so removing that extra space would probably make it a bit to small and the main focus of them based on their shape and the buildings shape/ orientation is clearly still towards the water views.

The should drop the 7 parking spaces but aside from that it seems good.

Avalon North Station | Nashua Street Residences | West End

I would say that fashion and music have had more changes over that time period than architecture especially fashion. There have been tons of changes with fashion. Architecture has changed some for example a building with the art nouveau-esque detailing that 111 w 57th street has would never have...

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

DZH you are just too optimistic I think. I compared these projects to similar ones in other cities and none of these have had the initial foundation preparation stage take longer than average. If you want to see a project that had major delays and took way longer than would be expected for...
