FYI: It's the Neighborhood Council that's the more reasonable group, although only by a hair. The Residents Association is the splinter group who broke away because the Council wasn't being antagonistically hardline enough opposing anything with even a hint of change.

I think you could be right, curcuas. The strange thing is, the Vintage Market JUST moved into a new spot, and now they're moving again? I guess if they stayed and everyone else moved, it wouldn't be that far away, but it's still a little strange baring something like the lots getting redeveloped.

Re: GE Gear Plant - Lynn The Back Bay was filled with 19th Century trash. The Lynn Waterfront is a modern day industrial Super Fund site. It's not really the same thing.

I'd rather see them do some smart infill and rebuild the street grid over taking a couple thousand units off line for a few years while completely rebuilding the neighborhood.
