Re: T construction news excuse my ignorance, but how does this fit into Foxboro service? Would that route through the worcester line?

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

I think they sought to overbuild parking up front and build out the rest. I think the original assembly square strip and lots are already being looked at for redevelopment. it probably 10 years down the road, but the city has already said it wants as much and 1 story buildings and surface...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Re: The Boston Garden (TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End A hilton garden inn? I know this area isn't the luxury spot, but i'd be surprised if they had that level of hotel. Personally, something at that level of affordability would be great for the city, but it seems to be...

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

If the boulevard doesn't have a cycle track down the center instead of a couple of trees and garden beds that will be overgrown that shows the total lack of cohesion. I'm not a cyclist, but if you want to talk about silver line overload, lack of rail, tourists on hubway weaver, so much gets...

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Korean air would be my pick for Asia. As a business market and destination its personally attractive. A second China city (Shanghai or Hong Kong) seems likely just based on the China side success of the Beijing route (assuming it maintains). Longer term may be India and deep Latin America as...

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

That's huge. I wonder when the connect C-E more how much JetBlue, as the biggest airline at Logan, will reorder some of its schedule to hit connecting flights for passengers coming from non-international cities (Pittsburg, Buffalo, Raleigh) or 1 stop cross country US to Europe (Seattle, SF, LA...

    The Return of the Streetcar?

You'd need more than 1.5 lanes if you are going to do two tracks with people boarding from both sides. especially if you are on the esplanade and going by the lagoon and under the mass ave bridge.

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Re: The Boston Arch (Aquarium parking garage) Does he have to replace all the spaces 1 for 1, or just the portion leased by harbor towers. The area is highly accessible by other means, he may not intend on full replacement, and I think that is good for a host of urban and environmental...

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Re: The Boston Arch (Aquarium parking garage) The cognitive dissonance of the article is truly amazing. They are the precedent for skyscrapers on the water! They have the fenced private pool and parking turnaround people have to walk around/through! Density on the water is bad? So having...

Lovejoy Wharf - Hoffman Building | 160 North Washington Street | West End

Brockton too... Boston has arguably the greatest shoe industry history and presence. It actually is amazing when you think of it how undersung it is

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Somerville Soccer Stadium I think the real issue that would make Kraft hesitate on really pushing for providence is that a successful providence team would likely make a boston team more likely and not preclude it. Some other ownership group would see the success and say wow imagine what I...

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Re: The Boston Arch (Aquarium parking garage) You're entitled to your opinion and we are entitled to the wrathful blowback. Free speech doesn't mean no consequences. Also saying the garage is an open structure is blind and a 200' height limit is totally arbitrary to force concessions. If...

Re: Somerville Soccer Stadium I like that idea. I always wondered why they left the pit opened. was it necessary for construction access? I don't imagine it's still necessary.

Re: Somerville Soccer Stadium Kraft is involved as a 'business leader' in the Olympic discussion. I don't think this timing is a coincidence given the USOC will pick a finalist in the next 12ish months and the IOC in a year. Boston's bid looks much more attractive in the scope and is much...

I'm not a soccer apologist by any means. if anything, i'm a total pink hat that really only pays attention during the world cup. I can watch Costa Rica play Japan but don't really watch Man U vs. Liverpool. That being said, Sounds like your issues aren't with the game play just minor rule...

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

^Interesting the line about Delta identifying Boston as a major focus. Would be cool to see them focus on the city and grow their route network internationally. They've cut back quite a bit on the city since their heyday, correct?

Bulfinch Triangle Infill & Small Projects

YES! as much as GCG and NS developments will bookend the neighborhood on both ends tremendously, building out the infill in the Bulfinch Triangle is what will really make the place unique and cool to explore. I've kinda always thought of it as a mini Fort Point.
