"The Garage" | 36 JFK Street | Harvard Square | Cambridge

20+ years ago my friends are I would take the bus to Harvard, browse the tannery, newbury comics, and grab “the special” at cafe A. I think it was something like $3.25 for 2 slices of cheese/roni and a soda. Sigh. Harvard isn’t special anymore.

SKY Everett | 114 Spring Street | Everett

This...SFH market is completely insane right now. Hard to believe it’s being driven only by millennials/and can keep going. That being said, Everett seems to be enjoying a nice little renaissance. Who’s to say it can’t keep going ?

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

Another resident opinion: agree with all above. I really don’t care since that side of town is basically a no mans land, but traffic was definitely an issue pre-pandemic (not so much now) and a lot of townies feel trapped between all the development happening, the town feels like an island...

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

2 main differences between north station high rises and harbor towers. 1. waterfront 2. Condo vs Apts both contribute favorably to this development getting completed. However, I’m still a skeptic.

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

market will be for the ~1,000 residents plus maybe some others in the immediate area. I agree with the noise but can’t be much worse than cars.com park over the pike, or even where the Bobby Orr statue is. Lastly, balconys facing the highway etc will have city view vs. encore/wind turbine/powerpl

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Pictures didn’t really do it justice as to how grand this already feels from the Winthrop sq park side. It’s impressive that they can shoe horn a tower in on that odd lot inches from the other buildings.

Bunker Hill Mall Apartments | 201 Rutherford Avenue | Charlestown

Building a brand new apt building around a dusty old 99...when you could build an interesting retail space right into the development, while still preserving jobs and attracting tenants to something a little more interesting.

Bunker Hill Mall Apartments | 201 Rutherford Avenue | Charlestown

Still don’t understand why they would build like that around the 99. Seems like a lose/lose between the restaurant and developer.

Bunker Hill Mall Apartments | 201 Rutherford Avenue | Charlestown

So 99 is staying ? never mind I see it now...why would they build it like that ? 99 refuse to leave ? Seems very inefficient.
