I can't help but think that Pittsburgh is almost an ideal site for Amazon--two powerhouse universities in the new Global Rankings Top 50 with many smaller ones (not on par with Boston, but top-notch nonetheless--CMU is an engineering and robotics leader), Pitt/CMU grads would love to stay but...

Good summary. I think they need to put a sizable marker on Brookline near the Fenway with a message reading "The Pierce looks great if you stand...right...here"

I agree, and not just the Greenway. A few well-positioned, right-sized kiosks would not go amiss in the Fens near the playing fields or Agassiz Road, the Riverway, Jamaica Pond etc.

Cava is a-maz-ing. Kind of a more ethnic SweetGreens.

+1. The charms of Dunkin Donuts is completely lost on me--to call it mediocre is an insult to mediocrity. I feel very sad for the north-central PA town for which this was the "only good thing in town." Wow.

I've been several times (most recently about 3 days ago) as I live nearby and the the fresh vegetables section is really quite the bargain (it must be a loss leader for them to get people to shop there more routinely). I think it is hugely successful. Still fairly packed most times with a line...
