In these photos the metallic panels really catch the sun and have such a great brightness to them. It's too bad that from most other angles, the building looks flatly grey and even dark grey.

I think the same problem exists with the nice new academic buildings along Huntington--with no ground activation some of the best new buildings in Boston fail to have the impact they could on their neighboring community.

Yes, a good example of quality even if we might have many quibbles.

I came out from the mall onto Boylston through here today: really creates a kind of "grand entrance" into Back Bay. Once the 888 building and plaza gets occupied, this is going to be a very dramatic vantage point from which to view Boylston. Well done.

This is turning out to be one of the more attractive buildings under construction. Staid but with a bit of imagination and enough asymmetries to engage the eye. I worry the turbines will be a bit gimmicky, however.
