Does anyone know what year the lobby was remodeled?

Months ago I promised a John Hancock Dump™, so, without further ado, here it is!

People said the same thing about 200 State back in the 80s... except this time it's even worse, since the new building is directly in the center.

I consider myself to be relatively progressive, and the old Marketplace Center generally used weak, cheap materials... but there's no charm to this new proposal.

What seems to be a semi-finalized Shops At Pru sketch, probably from 1992-3ish.

Now that you say that, 133 Fed gives me some decent Twin Tower vibes. Especially with those column trees at the base, and the pinstripe facade design!

Here's a really cool one. This is the original lobby of 28 State Street, in 1970. (Progressive Architecture, May 1970)

Somewhat late of me, but the skybridge was designed by the Stubbins Associates, instead of TAC. (Stubbins Assoc. also did both hotels, if I'm not mistaken.)
