The performance stage for this building is going to be pretty sick. Its going to be on the second floor and behind the stage will be the glass wall that looks out onto Mass Ave. Thats a cool back drop.

Myabe, I'll have to check it out another time. But there's something to be said about the size of your economy. Estonia has a GDP the size of Vermont's, that's cute.

Other areas that could really help the Boston metro are the Woburns and Needhams, that pretty much all have McMansion zoning laws. A lot of damage has already been done, but a little density could still be added here and there increasing supply by a nice chunk.

Does anyone know the whole point of the work they are doing on 95 in Woburn and Burlington. Besides being painfully slow it seems that its all in the name of making the median between the two sides of the highway smaller. Are they trying to use the bigger shoulder for traffic or something?

^^ Thats just it, most of Cambridge's people don't voice any opinion. Vocal minorities demand that high rises don't get built. Most resident's probably don't care and would just accept it within a few years. I highly doubt North Cambridge would care too much if Kendall had a couple of tall...

I totally agree, one or (grasp) two 35 story towers would really make Cambridge's skyline official. It's already kind of something, I don't know why they wouldn't want to take it up a notch in a few spots to make a legit city skyline and not the tall office park/almost city skyline it now has...

Between A Street, Waterside, Pier 4, and even Fan Pier, the swaths of parking lots that once felt too massive (and daunting of an undertaking) to ever one day be a built environment will soon feel a lot more hemmed in. The foot traffic is already there.

I'd imagine that when a president is running for a second term, any president, the advantage has to go a little bit to the challenger. All the challenger is focusing on , or at least in this case, is campaigning while the incumbent president is both campaigning and running a country.
