    Portsmouth Pics

I couldn't agree with you more MonopolyBag and Patrick. The Elm St./downtown area is nice spot to walk but that is just one stretch that maybe lasts 3/4 of a mile. I wonder if they will add any more skyscrapers/highrise buildings to this area? Culturally Manchester was traditionally mostly...

    Manchester Infill & Small Developments

Patrick, living here in Manchester and driving around the city you almost get the feel that zoning was a "dirty word" until maybe 10-15 years ago. Manchester almost has the attitude similar to Houston, TX which is "it's my land I can do whatever I want with it." Someone brought up a great point...

    Worcester Approves $583M City Square

Patrick, the Hart Center is a great small venue to see game, but walking around it you get the feeling it hasnt been renovated since it was built back in 1975. Your Uncle sounds like quite the athlete.

    Windham/Salem Exit 3 on 93

M.Brown, thanks for responding to my post. I understand that Route 3 is closer to the airport. My point is that the access road could also have been a short cut to I-93/Londerry if you are coming from Nashua or Merrimack.I was just wondering why the state wouldnt connect the airport access road...

    Windham/Salem Exit 3 on 93

Does anyone know why they didnt have the airport access road connect to I-93? Seems like it only would have been another mile, if that of highway. Also are there going to be any exits off of the airport access road and what are they calling it?...

    Worcester Approves $583M City Square

Does anyone know if Holy Cross plans on renovating the Hart Center? I wouldnt be surprised if they fix it up in the next few years. A great place to see a college basketball game when it is sold out.

    Burlington | VT | Update....

Has anyone heard any news regarding a new UVM arena? I know UVM currently is not seeking public financing for it, but I havent heard anything about it. I know Fogel wanted to have a new arena built by now, but with the economic climate the way it is right now it would be tough to seek public...

    Manchester Infill & Small Developments

Frank, I agree with you on the on the shopping center near Paige St. Do you know if any developers have plans for the old furniture world site off South Willow St./I-293 exit? Seems like a prime location for some kind of business to move right in, I'm guessing their asking too much for...

Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

As an amateur to the world of urban development I am thrilled to have found this site. Portland, ME is my fav. "small city" in New England. Living in Manchester, NH I have to admit there is more commerce and urban feel to Portland than Manchester...even though Manchester's population is bigger...
