    how right you are! my only excuse (feeble) is i think even less of the office space at winthrop is leased than at SST and i just think of it as 100% residential b/c at least many of the condos are sold.

    well... 685 fifth ave, hancock tower, vancouver house, 70 pine street -- not entirely unusual (and I expect -- and hope -- we'll be seeing more of it), but you are possibly/probably correct that this is the only such mixed-use office/residential skyscraper in Boston.

    I was meaing more that, while I'm not supertall-obsessed, having this design at significant height (900 ft? more?) and representing the pinnacle of Boston's skyline would have been stunning. I love what we have -- just imagining what it could have been in a fantasy scenario.
