    Addressing the nationwide housing crisis

There are a number of reasons I think public housing is a poor solution to our problems here in Massachusetts. 1. The primary association voters have with public housing is not clean and well-run Singapore but criminality and communists. There would need to be a titanic political effort to...

    Addressing the nationwide housing crisis

I think the economic problem is indeed pretty clear, but the problem of political economy is almost intractably complicated with the concentration of highly educated and civically engaged people that have an interest in high home prices and attachment to the past. I didn't know we were an...

The Ipswich | 2 Charlesgate West | Fenway

Not an expert in any of this but I hope there are more success stories for high end residential buildings in the area. Just browsing listings on the Pierce look pretty wild renting upwards of $100/sqft/yr right now. It looks like the demand for this kind of high-rise luxury residential is there...

MBTA Fare System (Charlie, AFC 2.0, Zone, Discounts)

I just watched a group of half a dozen people at a small above-ground green line stop get on. With all-door boarding, they just waltzed in through the back and none of them tapped. The MBTA needs to step up its messaging and enforcement or else I think the fare evasion rate will be like 70% lmao
