Portland Museum of Art Expansion | Portland

There could be legal and financial ramifications to terminating the relationship with the current firm unfortunately. They may have a termination clause in their contract to include a significant fine for ending the relationship. However, it might well be worth it in the long run. I still...

Well this could get interesting ... he really needs to be removed as Director. I'm not sure if/why the PPH seems to be supportive of him by giving him this public forum. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/like-a-boss-with-mark-bessire-portland-museum-of-art-tickets-824023625847?aff=Digital

Anything the Daily Mail reports should be looked upon with more than a little skepticism, if it should be looked at at all. I believe Janet Mills is also referring to welcoming 75k new migrants in the next decade. Frankly, that is probably what it will take to keep the Maine economy from...

Yes it is too late but should have been addressed when they built the new terminal. Those floors were cracked already before the terminal opened to the public. It IS possible to strip and sand those floors and use a filler then re-finish them.

Maine Medical Center Expansion | Portland

I am so disappointed in the cladding of the stepped back top floors. It looks like candy striping and sticks out like a sore thumb from a distance.

You can't just "resurface" terrazzo flooring. The contractor should have been made to tear it all out and redo it as the cracks have been in the floor since it cured.

Port of Portland | Working waterfront and future developments

I can tell you now that this underwhelming design will never get installed for $2.5 million and we are going to end up with another half-assed attempt at beautification. Portland is a growing city and they need to start acting like it. They should have gone big or gone home and made it a world...

You are not going to invest $850k and end up with a place worth 3 million. The economics of that scenario are absolutely unrealistic unless you are going to do all the work yourself hence zero labor costs. It just doesn't work that way.
