The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: One Seaport Square | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport There's a station entry/headhouse on both sides of Seaport Blvd. I believe the Yotel/Parcel J is on the south side of Seaport Blvd, and I think he was referring to the other headhouse on the northern side of the street. I didn't know...

    Boston 2024

This may not fit your above criteria, but the one project I'd personally most like to see completed as result of a potential Olympics, would be Red-Blue at MGH. It seems like it would have the biggest system wide benefit of any single project, cost/benefit not considered(save for maybe...

    Silver Line to Chelsea

Re: Silver Line to Chelsea (Study Meeting) So I finally got around to looking at this thing closely: http://www.massdot.state.ma.us/Portals/31/Docs/meeting_Presentation081814.pdf And i'm just curious, for the Downtown Chelsea stop, why don't they put it in between the Washington Ave. Bridge...

    Continuum | Barry's Corner | Allston

Re: Barry's Corner Commons and renaming Barry's Corner What's happening with the Charlesview Redev? Are those buildings getting knocked down and replaced, or just refurbished. Would be nice if somethign replaced it that had a streetwall with streetlevel retail, right opposite this Barry's...

    MA Casino Developments

Its exciting to think about what Sullivan Sq could eventually become, only one stop down from Assembly, both potentially on an UR route. Not sure what the plans are for now but its basically a blank slate that could be turned into something really nice.

One Canal (formerly Greenway Center) | Bullfinch Triangle | West End

Re: One Canal (formerly Greenway Center, Bullfinch Triangle) Any idea what the facade will look like on this thing? The render on Trinity's website doesnt look like the final design.

Suffolk Downs Redevelopment | East Boston/Revere

Re: Suffolk Downs Redevelopment Potential Very cool, and I like your idea. I wonder if existing neighbors are gonna fight potential high density development at this site like almost every other in the area. I'm sure at least some people will. But this is such a good opportunity for basically...

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Re: Garden Garage Towers (Basketball City) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End Maybe slightly off topic, but is there any chance the other parking lots in the area, right behind the Nashua Street Tower, get developed? They're also right next to a major transport hub, and would seem ripe for...

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Re: Garden Garage Towers (Basketball City) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End The render on the BRA page looks new, but the PNF seems to be the same. I thought this thing was pretty much dead. WOuld love to see it come back.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

I quite liked this book. Once of Lehane's few I've read that weren't a suspense novel with a twist in the end. More of a historical fiction, really well done. Its called The Given Day if anyones interested.

One Canal (formerly Greenway Center) | Bullfinch Triangle | West End

Re: One Canal (formerly Greenway Center, Bullfinch Triangle) To be completely honest, this is one of my favorite developments in the city. Not necessarily for the building itself, but more just for what it does for the area. It completely changes the whole intersection. Once the Merano gets...

Housing a Changing City: Boston 2030

The plan is going in the right direction, tho I do worry about the execution. I can't help but think of the new development at the empty parcel next to Roxbury Crossing T stop. It was a blank slate, literally RIGHT NEXT to a T station, and while the development is better than the empty lot its...

    Fairmount Line Upgrade

Re: Fairmont Line Upgrade I would argue the service needs to be there first if we're going to get people to use it. The presence of the service will also generate economic development, such as housing, office and retail space being built near the stations.

    225 Centre @ Jackson Square | 225 Centre Street | Jamaica Plain

This whole square could become something really fantastic, a destination in its own right, once the whole plan is built out. More residences going up should help fill out the retail spaces.
