Mixed Use Complex | 345 Harrison Ave | South End

This is really gonna be quite a big complex. Will add a nice presence on Harrison here with Ink Block right across the street. Hopefully Harrison is gonna become quite the corridor over he next 5 years with all these buildouts and proposals.

The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: One Seaport Square | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport I can't wait to walk around this area again when it finally warms up in the spring. It'll be a whole new world compared to the last time i was down there.

    Fairmount Line Upgrade

Re: Fairmont Line Upgrade In another thread EMUs were discussed as being significantly better than DMUs for something like the Fairmount line for a host of reasons. Since both ends of the line are already electrified, it seems like it would be releatively easy to string up catenary, and I...

    Crazy Transit Pitches

For this SE quadrant of the ring, could trolleys from Huntington ave hook a turn onto Ruggles Street? Close this street to everything except these trolleys from 6-10am and 4-730pm, and have the LRVs share the bus drop off area. Trains could then turn right out onto Melnea Cass towards...

    Somerville Infill and Small Developments

Billerica is not a slum, but I would hardly call it well off. Nowhere near the affluence of a place like Newton.

    Traditional Masonary

Maybe a lack of true experienced masons in the area drives up cost for this specific labor enough to make the project as a whole less profitable versus other uglier options?

    Urban Ring

""Connecting the E to D at Brookline Village allows run-thrus from JP to Kenmore, and hopping platforms to quick-transfer from an inbound off BU Bridge to an outbound hitting Longwood, etc. The stuff coming in from the D can use the Kenmore loop to avoid Central Subway congestion while stuff...

    Whats left to build on?

there is a project going up on a portion of those lots (I'm too lazy to search for the thread on here, but we do have one for that project). It was dissapointingly small, considering this is RIGHT next to a heavy rail stop. But I guess something is better than an empty lot.

    Hyatt Place/Ora Seaport (née Parcel K) | 315 Northern Avenue | Seaport

The B&T article is behind paywall so I can't read it but BLDUP is reporting that Lincoln Property Company will take over the project and hopes to break ground in early 2017. http://www.bldup.com/projects/parcel-k...

Pier 4 Office Building | 140 Northern Ave | Seaport

Re: Pier 4 Office Tower | 140 Northern Ave | Seaport I still say that this section of the city should should be zoned for later hours than the rest of Boston when it comes to restaurants/bars being open. Because they were essentially starting from scratch, this would have been the place to do...

    Future Skyline

This is why I wish developers would create google earth 3D renders of their buildings to show in true contrast to its surroundings, rather than just images or massings. I'm sure the answer has to do with cost blah blah blah. Would be cool to have

Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

Re: Waterside Place 1B | 505 Congress Street | Seaport That render just reminded me, has phase one's retail been filled yet? Last time I was down there it still had the glass covered so you couldn't see in

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

bowling/pool/bar/karaoke/restaurant (I think the one by Prudential serves food?). Its a big nightlife spot, should be a good destination spot for visitors to Assembly.

The Beverly (née Merano) (Parcels 1B & 1C) | Bulfinch Triangle | West End

Re: The Merano (Parcels 1B & 1C) | Bulfinch Triangle | West End Are these 2 separate buildings? Or will they just use different facades on the north and south halves of one long building? The render made it look like one building similar to the other landscrapers next to it.

Regional Rail (RUR) & North-South Rail Link (NSRL)

Re: North-South Rail Link I don't think Aquarium is as close to Haymarket as you think it is. Those would be very long walkways and even moving wouldn't be a quick trip. I could be wrong, but would almost think South Station would be closer to Aquarium, and might make more sense for moving...
