I agree, and if/when the Merano project is built, we'll have retail corridors on both Canal St. and Beverly St. that this project will be a part of. It's going to do a lot for helping to create and enhance this neighborhood, especially when you consider it in context with Gov. Center garage...

Still bothers me that this entrance is off center. Would love an explanation from the architect on why this decision was made.

I wonder how long those parcels with the trucks will remain...seems like the land would be extremely valuable to a developer, and from a selfish point of view would be great to have both sides of D street activated with a continue streetwall from Summer all the way down to 1st street.

you'd think with hotel vacancy rates as low as they've been that hotel companies would be dying to get more rooms available, the demand certainly seems to be there, and even with a small increase in supply it would seem to still be there.

I still don't understand why the opening on the front of the podium is off-set from the center. Doesn't seem like it would be a forced structural design, but I also have a hard time imagining it would be an architectural decision

180 condos on floors 25-61...if my math is correct thats an avg of 5 units per floor. Considering the penthouses will have less on each floor, that means many of lower units will have more than 5. I just dont see how thats possible considering the size of the parcel...it must be significantly...
