Nice shots from new angles. Thanks!

Skanska Office Tower | 380 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Something's not right here. The Globe article says the new building will be 380 feet tall, 44 feet more than The Clarendon, and 40 feet more than 500 Boylston, but the render doesn't seem to represent that accurately.

It's also worth remembering that Boston's population is increasing rapidly, from about 617,000 in 2010 to an estimated 656,000 last year--over 6% in just 4 years, and I bet most of those are relatively high income folks. (The increase between 2000 and 2010 was less than 5%, at least according to...

So 1047 Comm is 1 commercial space and 220 single occupancy units, per the BRA website: http://www.bostonredevelopmentauthority.org/projects/development-projects/1047-commonwealth-avenue I'm having a hard time matching what we see in the construction pics with what's on the BRA's site. Did...

After this, The Point, and the Burger King development, what else is left for this stretch? Wasn't there something behind Boylston West? [Edit: whoops, meant to edit, not quote myself.]

Looks like Samuels & Associates just confirmed that the Landmark project will start later this year. Opening scheduled for 2018: http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/real_estate/2015/06/wegmans-still-committed-to-first-urban-store-in.html

I think guesses are all anyone here can offer you. I'd guess.... about the end of the year, for topping out?

No, that's good, definitely. But .05 would be better!

Sounds great, and neighborhood appropriate. (Though I'd reduce the parking spaces by about 90%.)

Not an exact likeness, to be sure! But is pregnant? The bulge is pretty low, unless we assume a humanoid with a very odd anatomical arrangement. Something like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS-f_KwM81I

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

If internet stats are right, 33 Arch is 477 feet tall, which means we're about 70% there. 100 Federal (the brown, bong-shaped building just to the right) is 591 feet at a very slightly lower elevation, so the Millennium Tower will be about 100 feet taller than that.

Great shots. The last one in particular is very placid. Where were they taken?

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

Actually it's been close to 10 years! (Spring of '06 I believe.) I used to work there, and was told B&N left because the landlord jacked the rent up to something preposterous. B&N offered more than they were paying but the landlord thought he'd get even more elsewhere. It's horrible that it's...

Would've been nice if that glass and grey panel front was recessed instead of protruding from the surrounding buildings.

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

Awesome, thanks for the info! I ask because this means that the Millennium Tower is basically 100 feet taller than 100 Federal, which is a good benchmark to keep in mind and a nice thought to have as we watch this thing rise.
