Mostly this. Personally, it's quite difficult to pay attention to Boston planning while I'm halfway across the country studying other stuff. Especially when there is hardly anything being built or even proposed.

I mean, I guess pavilions are as good as actual buildings. Also, notice the only structures that have been put up on the Greenway so far, are city buildings. Or state buildings. Whatever. Joke? Yes.

According to that massing rendering, the building on the parking lot will be perfectly in scale with the neighbors. So please explain to me just how these people will lose their views. Views that as far as I can tell, include Storrow Drive, a bunch of ramps, and a T station.

Cool concept, I wonder why more US chains haven't done something like this? I wonder if Yotel has a parent company. If not, Mr. Marriott, I'm looking at you.
