That arrival time in China is terrible but it is what it is for now. Wouldn't a triangle route with Chicago be more palatable? I think Hainan had rights to Chicago at one point.

There has to be leakage to Amsterdam from Brussels There is convenient train service to multiple points Belgium from Schiphol Airport. However, taking a train from Brussels Airport to Amsterdam would be a tough sell to American travellers.

I see Boston-Austin operating one flight with A319 in March. Also, while looking at March schedules Spirit has 4-5 daily flights to Orlando. When did that happen?

The Irish Aviation thread on airliners.net is saying JetBlue will announce Dublin tomorrow or Thursday. Both Logan and JFK to be served. One poster mentions Edinburgh too but it was not clear if it's both JetBlue Northeast hubs. Could be an exciting day.

I think Spirit only has flights loaded until may 2024 so these will definitely go through summer at least.

They must be making use of a plane that was otherwise going to sit idle or its to possibly to position planes. They also might be getting a subsidy from Portugal to get people to Porto.

TAP used to run a single A330 series widebody ranging from 250 to just under 300 seats. - Now it is two A321neoLR's combining for 342 seats. I originally thought their A330's had more seats. Great for hitting both hub banks in Lisbon.

The information is sparse in all of the news articles I've read. It sounds like they were considering the 1:30am daily departure for NYC and that a Boston departure time would vary every day. I guess having a consistent, yet not ideal, time for the higher O+D market and funnel traffic (when...

The flight also connects in San Salvador to Guatemala City (another growing diaspora in Greater Boston), San Jose-Costa Rica, San Pedro Sula-Honduras, and Guyaquil-Ecuador. I believe JetBlue fell asleep at the wheel not considering San Salvador or Guatemala City. They have had success with the...

Unless there is a crazy increase in traffic, we may never see an Emirates A380 in Boston again. Emirates cut ties with JetBlue and are in bed with United. Qatar Airways grows closer to JetBlue. I personally think they would increase frequency before Emirates. It is highly likely Logan gets...

I flew Denver-Kona which is a longer flight than Boston-London on 757. It was not a big deal. I did compare some pricing. On the surface Norse looks a lot cheaper but its 45 each way for carry on. I priced 10/4-10/9/23 for the holiday weekend: Norse was $578 including carry-on fees. I...
