First do you mean sub-saharan Africa? EgyptAir has been on Cairo-JFK for a long time. I need to check on Royal Air Maroc too. I believe South Africa has been connected to the USA for over a decade but I think some flights may have stopped in Ghana or Cape Verde. I'll check the history when I...

Boston-Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc for July 2019 is mentioned in this article as well: https://thepointsguy.com/news/oneworld-may-gain-royal-air-maroc/ I believe RAM has to apply for this with US DOT First.

Its been quiet in this thread since the recent JetBlue additions. 1)Southwest has made some changes in recent schedule update. Increased St Louis (5 daily) and Nashville (4 daily). Atlanta appears to be in critical care and Indianapolis on life support (1 weekly probably to position a...

These increases are loaded but somewhat seasonal. For example Santiago-DR is increased for January and February only and Nassau for March/April. Boston-Aruba is growing like a weed. JetBlue will average three daily flights in peak season and there's an overall peak of 5 flights on Saturday (4...

Its official. One theory out there is that the new routes were launched in rapid succession to generate some cash flow. https://primeraair.com/about-us/corporate-news/ceases-operations/

Lots of airliners.net items: Sun Country going seasonal on Minneapolis-Boston and will not fly between 1/7 and mid-Spring. Delta is rumored to launch seasonal Boston-Lisbon in Summer 2019 Air Italy (formerly Meridiana and 49% owned by Qatar Airways) is planning 4 new North American...

One advantage being a large carrier in Logan is that the plane that lands from London doesn't necessarily need to be the plane that returns to London. You can also pick and choose your departure time from Boston easily. They could easily squeeze 2-3 daily in right now - even do a morning...

Are we talking Athens or Milan? A321neoLR cannot do Boston-Athens. The rumored XLR may be able to. Norwegian could do Athens on a 787 though but they would probably lose their shirt.

Athens is largest unserved European City by far - Almost 70K passengers a year but its so much further away than everything else. Milan has to be a distant number 2. O+D data may show Edinburgh as number 2 though it is served in Providence and may show a high number for Dusseldorf/Oslo since...

CSA is better for airport catchment. People drive to Logan from CT, RI and Maine to get non-stops, more convenient or cheaper flights.

Glad to see its a late departure (10PM) so it hits the late morning/early afternoon bank of flights at Schiphol. I wish they would do either an earlier 4-5PM or midnight CDG flight to hit a 3rd bank at CDG. The DL and first AF flights in peak season leave at virtually the same time.

Repairs to many resorts, the ones that could be fixed, are still not complete on either island. Also its just in time for school vacation weeks and historically the period after Xmas and New Years has less travel to warmer areas.

Since the forum was down for a bit here's some changes. 1) Primera Air stated Boston-London Stansted will be seasonal but not in the typical seasonality that some carriers do (i.e Late March-Late October). Last flight of 2018 is 12/9/18. 2019 flights have not been loaded but will be returning...

I discount any numbers for the French Caribbean since the schedule was poor and sub-optimal especially when the shift was made to TF Green. Most people go to warm weather routes on Sat/Sun. Its a very common USA originating travel pattern that Norwegian should have taken into consideration At...
