The SAL route could be announced any time now since the CEO of Avianca said its going to be launched in their inflight magazine.
Sichuan Airlines has obtained rights to serve Boston-Chengdu (CTU) 3x weekly. The funny thing about this one is that there were hints of this online since December...

Delta is also increasing Seattle to 3 daily in summer.
May not be a good idea for Norwegian to do this. Seems like they are taking a hit on Scandinavian Longhaul to USA. Stockholm was worst loss per seat - that's why we haven't seen it yet!
Hartford-Edinburgh must have been brutal since it was cut but Providence-Edinburgh was cut slightly and...
Connects to the three Australian cities going towards Oceania but doesn't connect to Air NZ's Auckland flight since it arrives too late.
The connection on the return is tight in Vancouver 90 minutes and factor pre-clearance into that one... you may wind up on a Vancouver-Toronto flight if you...
OAG thread on airliners.net had some developments this week.
1)IcelandAir is increasing to four daily Reykjavik flights for June through September - 3x 757 and 1 x 767.
Flight times (departures from Boston) are even crazier: 2:30pm, 8:15pm, 8:45pm, 9:30pm. Its practically shuttle service at...
Thanks I usually can find these online but not this time.
The way they were mentioned on that route map slide sounds like they are getting them since they were called "future destinations". It is interesting that 2 out of the highlighted routes are announced and Havana is in DOT approval limbo...
I do not have access to current O+D. Obviously there's the brookings report and I saw an SAS presentation before they made the expansion to LAX Miami and Boston with some Boston-Scandinavian numbers.
Pretty much London is 5 times all of Scandinavia combined based on past numbers.

I think Norwegian wants to be less involved/responsible with connections which made up a higher portion of the Boston-Copenhagen/Oslo flyers and leave it up to a service like GatwickConnects.
Delta loaded a Saturday Boston-Aruba flight for Summer 18 June 9 - August 25. Its in Amadeus but not bookable yet nor has type of plane being used.

Good news and potential bad news.
Boston-London Gatwick will be daily on Norwegian for the summer season.
BUT it appears seasonal Boston-Oslo/Copenhagen are cut by Norwegian unless there is a shuffle going on from other recent long haul adds (Los Angeles-Milan, JFK-Amsterdam, JFK/LA-Madrid)...
Finally we get our Boston-Barcelona flight. It was snuck in with LEVEL's launch of Paris-Orly.
http://newsroom.aviator.aero/level-launches-four-routes-from-paris-orly-with-fares-from-eu99/
Starts 3-28-18 and is Wed/Sat on A330-200 until early August when it becomes Mon/Thurs/Sat

There's six flights a day in dead of winter (early Feb). I don't think ski travel makes or breaks Denver flights. People also fly into Aspen, Hayden etc. as well.
United - 3
JetBlue - 2 (only 1 Saturday)
Southwest - 1 (2 on Saturday)
They expanded into PVD bigtime this summer with a major announcement. Some routes start next spring (Carolinas)
Orlando is year-round plus seasonal Denver, New Orleans, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Miami, Minneapolis, Fort Myers and Tampa.

One needs to choose Buenos Aires Aeroparque Airport instead of Ezeiza to get better connections to there. That airport is closer to city center.
Two items for discussion.
JetBlue will launch 3 daily A320 Boston-Minneapolis on May 3rd. No press release yet but its bookable.
LATAM Brasil (formed from the merger of LAN Chile and TAM) has leaked out an intention to fly Sao Paulo-Boston. Stay tuned...
