It would be nice if 93 actually snaked through the high canopy of tree filled urban parks as pictured in that aerial shot render.

Lab Building (née Hotel Hampshire) | 34-40 Hampshire St. | Cambridge

It was a store front. That has more potential than what's proposed. I'm not saying Emma's or nothing.

Lab Building (née Hotel Hampshire) | 34-40 Hampshire St. | Cambridge

It used to be a good pizza place that many enjoyed. What's proposed will mean as much to the average visitor as the Draper parking garage across the street.

Evolution of the Prudential Center: 1954-1989

Business plummets at retailers on Newbury in the winter. I hear ya but the mall does well and continues to do well.

Thanks. That helps give a sense of how aggressively the metro area needs to build to meet demand.

BU Data Sciences Center | 665 Commonwealth Avenue | BU Central

I walked by this on Bay State Road and it's difficult to capture how imposing this is. Made me feel uneasy, and I was enthusiastically a fan of this building. I still think it looks hot from the river, looking down Comm Ave from Allston, but gotta say it kinda sucks up close.

Longwood Place (Simmons Residential Campus) | 305 Brookline Avenue | Longwood

They need to properly fill out that corner at Pilgrim and Brookline. Forget the little office building style lawns and do a double row of trees down along Brookline with a continuous streetwall. Tall glass boxes and a wide street is a tough one.

155 North Beacon Street | Brighton

It pains me to see the character leave Allston, but I think acceptance is better than a patchwork of life support for key businesses. The owner gladly sold and decamped for Norwood, which highlights that scenes move elsewhere. Eventually this area will be very different than it is today, so if...

    The Mason | 85-87 & 111 Boston Street | Everett

The architecture isn't anything special, but the massing is right and it is quite exciting to see this area turn into solid city blocks at a rapid clip. I hope it makes its way down through the Box District of Chelsea to finally heal the wound left by the last big fire.

    Quincy General Developments

Finally it seems the design quality is going up. To date, it's been a bunch of second rate developers cutting their teeth in places like Quincy.

Marketplace Center | Quincy Market | Downtown

I like the building, the massing, how it curves along the street and forms the pedestrian space on the other side. I don't like how it's all one tenant and that they blocked off all the windows. The area is a tourist trap. Of course it will feel like a strip mall because where else do you find...
