    Mid-Century Mundane

https://midcenturymundane.wordpress.com/ I've often appreciated the types of everyday buildings featured on this blog. I always notice this building. Anyone have local examples they'd like to share?

    Biking in Boston

Any reason why the decking over the red line between Fields Corner and Ashmont couldn't become a bike path? I couldn't find a mention of this ROW in existing threads...

    Quincy Center Redevelopment

Not sure but I think this one is on the parking lots along Burgin Pkwy behind that row of buildings on Hancock. The developments in that render were announced a couple or so months ago.

There's no one in the city government making sure that all the development going on is helping the city grow into a better place, at least from an urban design standpoint... What differentiates Houston from Vancouver is really just...

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

    Barry's Corner Mixed-Use | 180 Western Avenue | Allston

The gas station is a small plot that I imagine would be a challenge. Maybe replace that triangle intersection with a roundabout to simplify traffic patterns and add the freed up space to the Dunkin parcel so that can get some decent redevelopment. More room is needed anyway to gracefully...

    "Dirty Old Boston"

Most of the buildings here are gone, particularly to the right of the train tracks. Common knowledge to most here, I'm sure, but it never fails to blow my mind.
