Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Re: Green Line to Medford to start in 2011 And by the time that's finished, I hope the final section (bridge across the Charles River to North Station) is also well underway.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Re: Green Line to Medford to start in 2011 Do you find the North Bank bridge 'scary'? I don't. The path needs to meet ADA guidelines, so it's not going to have any really steep climbs or descents. (And I'd rather walk or bike on a bridge than in a tunnel.)

Union Square Somerville Infill and Small Developments

Quincy Center shows what happens when you use a master developer. I don't understand why Somerville would want to emulate that.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Re: Green Line to Medford to start in 2011 The work from Cedar to Lowell is already going on. They just removed part of a parking lot on Cedar that was encroaching on the right-of-way.

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

it's a discussion of past and future retail in the Filene's building; what could be more relevant here?

I don't understand why that underpass isn't officially open, as all the construction was finished by last October. Legoland is scheduled for a May 23 opening.

Re: The Boston Garden (TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End but the current escalator faces towards the TD Garden. Why would there be any need to change that?

I don't see anyone here that was "on Kayvon's side". I made some statements on NECN's side, which isn't the same thing at all.

It could ruin your rims and wheels, though. I believe repeated use of it loosened my headset. I've heard it's also well-known to taxi drivers who want to avoid the Tobin Bridge tolls.

I saw it on Universal Hub here: http://www.universalhub.com/2014/high-bail-mental-health-evaluation-alleged#comment-343483 and they link to a statement from NECN.

Actually, it turns out that he didn't put a backpack there at all. It belonged to a TV station, NECN.

    Biking in Boston

I don't see why Charles and Beacon would be affected by the marathon at all. Also, why would the city of Boston tell Hubway to delay placing stations in Brookline?

I voted for 'Performance Art', but that doesn't mean I think it was AT ALL a good, well-executed idea. It was reasonable to arrest him.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

Going off topic slightly, but you'd be surprised how popular the North Bank bridge is, between Cambridge and Charlestown. Which is threaded through a large amount of highway and railroad infrastructure.

I'm not quite as vehement as kz1000ps, but leave Christopher Columbus Park alone. It's popular and it works.
