The MBTA has a notice that the Summer Street entrance to Downtown Crossing station will close for two months starting some time in mid-April. The notice doesn't explain why, but I assume it has something to do with Filene's construction.

I think there's a good case for running Silver Line to Logan 24/7/365, even when nothing else is running.

There's a large amount of empty land between Alewife Station and Russell Field, which should either be developed or turned into publicly accessible parkland instead of just sitting vacant and fenced off. (It does not appear to be wetland.)

Doesn't seem any worse to me than crossing Huntington Ave or Comm. Ave., and people do that all the time.

went to North Point to watch the 2013 Red Sox victory parade. The single convenience store was totally unable to handle the huge crowd that day.

I don't understand why people don't open up more restaurants across the street from the zoo, to take advantage of all the visitors there.

Is the Filene's tower still going to be called One Franklin, or has the new developer jettisoned that name?
