Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I see a lot of talk about whether or not we should blame Eng for this and other current problems with the T. Just look at how many governors and T leaders have come in and out over the last 20 years promising to fix the T and it continues to deteriorate. Are they all incompetent? Most likely...

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

Sorry to sidetrack, but my daughter's 20 months old now. I can't wait til she's a bit older and I can take her hiking like this!

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

Can we get someone to walk by the slide both during the day and at 2am to see if/when it's open. That's the only way we'll settle this.

    Patriot Place | Foxboro

The Patriots, like all teams in the NFL, spend roughly the same amount of money as every other team on their players. That's the salary cap. That being said, I think I'm old fashioned when it comes to stadiums. Give me a seat, a good game and some reasonably edible food and beer and I'm happy...

Fenway Corners (Red Sox) | 1 Jersey Street | Fenway

Will Landsdowne still have bars and other nightlife or will this building complete replace it with offices and/or apartments.

    Fitchburg Mass.

Fitchburg and Leominster need more of this downtown in order to make their cities more lively.

    Omaha’s Gene Leahy Mall

It's a nice looking park. I've never been to Omaha, so I don't know what the rest of the city is like, however.

    Nashua NH - New Development

That's the NH motto: Live free or die trying to get Massachusetts to pay for it, while claiming we're self-sufficient.

    Nashua NH - New Development

I'm guessing Massachusetts will have to pay for it

MBTA "Transformation" (Green Line, Red Line, & Orange Line Transformation Projects)

I fee It's such a short line. I feel like in addition to modernizing it, they should also make it longer.

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

I was last in Boston just under a year ago and I figured it would be done by now.

Massachusetts State Flag (we need a better state flag)

I don't like any flag that has a person on it - that's why I hate the current Mass and Maine flags. I like broad symbols of the state: Colors to represent the sea, land, ocean and the cities. Maybe a symbol that represents unity of the people and our educational institutions. A number of the...

    Patriot Place | Foxboro

Oh. Well, I learn something new everyday. On a side note, as a casual archboston reader, I'm totally lost when you guys start in on the abbreviations.

    Patriot Place | Foxboro

I think the color scheme in Met Life is kind of ugly, but I like the idea of having a completely round bowl of seats surrounding the field. It traps the sound and makes the players feel like they're surrounded on all ends. I disagree with you about having a West Side stadium for football. I...

    NYC Architecture and Development

These pics are great, and I love that part of NY. But with all those new apartments, couldn't there be at least a few small businesses within walking distance of them?

    Hartford CT

That's really a nice looking little stadium. To those of you who've been to both minor league stadiums, which would you say is nicer? Hartford or Worcester?

    Patriot Place | Foxboro

Another thing that annoys me: The fact that I wrote "annoy" instead of "annoys" in my previous comment. Also, I don't believe they're adding more seating. I understand they're adding some more amenities, but will it really complete the bowl?

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

If they're going to fill up several more trains, wouldn't that more than pay the overtime for the staff that has to work that weekend?

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

Help me to understand this: If they keep selling out, what's stopping the MBTA from adding more trains? The stadium holds 65000 people, and certainly 6000 tickets sold will make a dent, but if they really want to keep traffic down, why not run more?
