    Boston population rises to 645K

I am curious to see what the end results of this boom will be. With so much being proposed right now, and already a lot of residential construction already going on, how many of the proposals will be actually get built over the next couple of years? Nashua St? Millennium? Copley? I want HEIGHT!

Re: Waterside Place Thanks Beeline for the updates. I love me some recent pics!

The Kensington | 665 Washington Street | Downtown

Re: Residences at Kensington You know, this is a mid-rise designed to add density, not to be a signature tower. In 15-20 years, as this area gets more developed, this building will fold more and more into the background. I personally don't find it offensive, but I do see, at least at ground...

AvalonBay Tower (Jacob Wirth's) | 45 Stuart Street | Downtown

Re: Jacob Wirth's I do like the density that is being created in this area. Again, it's not overwhelming as far as design or height, but still nice to see.

Avalon North Station | Nashua Street Residences | West End

Re: Nashua Street Residences (North Station) For me, crappy designs and materials are par for Boston, so why complain and bitch. I am just happy that this may actually move forward. I have given up the hope that a signature tower in Boston will get built anytime soon. Having said that, this...

Radian (Dainty Dot) | 120 Kingston Street | Chinatown

Re: 120 Kingston, 29 Story Tower in Chinatown Watched that video. Oh my. I could only stand about 30 seconds of her voice and annoying habit of flailing all over.

Radian (Dainty Dot) | 120 Kingston Street | Chinatown

Re: 120 Kingston, 29 Story Tower in Chinatown This angle is better when you can include from the Pru to downtown, though I agree that downtown is very boxy.

Radian (Dainty Dot) | 120 Kingston Street | Chinatown

Re: 120 Kingston, 29 Story Tower in Chinatown I think you are right. I pulled up Google Earth and tried to match the angle. Looks like, if built, it would fill in just to the left of the W.

Radian (Dainty Dot) | 120 Kingston Street | Chinatown

Re: 120 Kingston, 29 Story Tower in Chinatown From this angle, would the Jacob Wirth tower be visable? If so, the highrise "spine" is starting to fill that gap in between downtown and Back Bay. Kinda nice.

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

Re: Millennium Tower - Filene's Well, I am cautiously optimistic. I will believe it when I see steel rising.

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

Re: NorthPoint Cambridge (The one that was train yards, the big plan.) Doesn't look to bad in the render. Though, a render and the final product are two different things.

Something about this pic has an 80's feel to it almost. I know it is recent since you can see 45 Province. Nice pic.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Re: Bulfinch triangle Here's to hoping we get something that is visually appealing. These tower's proximity to the Zakim and how prominent they will be coming into the city from the north really makes me hope for something that really stands out and draws your attention. What we'll end up...

Copley Place Expansion and Tower | Back Bay

Re: Copley Place plan calls for condo tower I want to be optimistic, but this IS Boston after all, and this is tall. So it is really ever going to built?
