They've installed a few panels on the side of the office tower podium that faces Portal Park. I will say it looks better than the renders. It has a slight patina that reminds me a little of weathered corten steel. I don't think it is corten steel though.

They appear to be shifting the location of the tower crane for the residential tower/hotel. There is a new crane base being installed at the top of the podium, along the causeway street side of the structure. Its sitting on top of some large steel beams that were installed 1-2 months ago.

Sales creek needs to be daylighted along it's entire reach through the property and the geometry needs to be resolved to something more comparative to other natural reference reaches in the area. They should be adding a vegetated buffer as well.

Honestly I don't think they are really wide enough to support any substantial greenery, and they are likely to quickly wrecked by sand, salt, cars, people. I think the street trees being installed are enough. The cycle track only runs halfway down Causeway anyway.

That is great news. It's interesting. In my admittedly limited observations, it seems that most Class A office space that is built on speculation seems to get filled up, while those that wait for tenants (e.g., One Congress, Hub on Causeway, etc.) seem to gather dust. Perhaps it's still too...

I don't know how high they can take that core without lateral support (anyone out there know?). Perhaps they are holding here until the steel workers finish with the office podium and can start work on the residential podium.

I'm actually curious myself. I'd be hesitant to say that the Four Seasons doesn't know the height of their own building, but if that's the case, why the discrepancy? It could finally give us insights into the true accuracy of the FAA numbers. Will be interesting to see what you hear, if you...
