It looks like AA is axing PWM-LGA. No flights loaded after November. Not clear whether it’s going to be summer-seasonal or if it’s gone for good. Also looks like UA PWM-DEN isn’t going year-round. At least not this year.

At one point B6's winter service was 3-4x daily PWM-JFK plus daily PWM-MCO....So this is definitely nowhere near where they used to be, but it's a very surprising step in that direction. Let's hope Breeze responds with more MCO frequency and/or new winter routes.

Found this in a library archive. This seems to be a pre-2007 concept for an office building / Transportation Center (??) on Marginal Way where the InterMed building and "The Linden" now stand. Notice the rail line coming into the building from the north. No idea where that line would connect...

Well that's certainly....a design. Quite an architectural downgrade from the original proposal. Although I can understand why given how much the cost of brick has gone up. Nobody wants to build with brick anymore.

Even with staggered service, serving both BGR and PSM will definitely cannibalize PWM. There's significant overlap between PWM/PSM's markets stretching from Biddeford to York. I'm worried Breeze is starting to do the "dartboard" network strategy that Frontier has used in the past....I think...

I've never seen any significant traffic on that section of Payne Road. It might get a bit congested at times but "Traffic" in this case means going 35 instead of the posted 45. Do we need to spend millions of dollars to make sure drivers can shave 30 seconds off a trip between Costco and Target?

Pleasantly surprised to hear mostly positive feedback from the Board and fairly minor and resolvable concerns from neighbors. Given the sites location I was expecting a bit of pushback from the low-density neighborhood immediately to the west.

My last time flying out of PWM in late April Delta was occupying gates 5-8 during the early morning departure bank. ATL, DTW, JFK and LGA all had overnights / early AM departures.

My understanding was that pre-merger US Airways was considered the "flagship" carrier at PWM (If there really is such a thing at a regional airport) and that AA inherited that status.

I think the only thing stopping WN from expanding are their overall fleet issues and delays with the 737-MAX-7. WN is short on planes right now and the MAX-7 has been desperately needed to replace older 737-700's. So until they start getting new metal they won't be in a growth phase. There...

A safety incident at PWM this morning. Southwest 4805 (PWM-BWI) took off from runway 29 this morning when runway 11/29 was still closed. Seems the pilots failed to check their NOTAMs regarding the runway closure and failed to broadcast their movements during non-tower operations...
