Freight and General New England RR News

Without taking away from F-Line's valuable close reading of the document, this might not be a real whopper. The "some" vs "others" in the quote above could be read as separate routes, rather than claiming the old Montreal route is good for freight. That seems like the likeliest reading to me...

    Reasonable Transit Pitches

Yep, two, one in and one out. I used to assume it was simply because they didn't want to staff the extra exit booths and maintain the entry machines, but I really have no idea. Tall Building Fetish and Forum Post Quality

For what it's worth, as a relative newbie, I too am put off by the height-obsessives and their relentless focus on one aspect of development. I have no problem with folks who like and want to see towers, but some seem to prize that over all else and drag too many threads down that path.

    General Infrastructure

There's a relatively recent one at Grove, Blanchard, and Washington in Belmont. It's not a four-way replacement, exactly, but otherwise fits the bill. See: https://goo.gl/maps/MdR6FqHvX5m

Biking the Boston 'Burbs (Trails, MDC, & Towns beyond Hubway area)

Pretty much rideable by any bike, depends only on the confidence of the rider. I took this last fall: DP2Q0087, P/R and the path to come There are some bumpier stretches north of 62, but mostly it's this kind of path. Agreed!
