Imagine we got an 800-footer with a beautiful crown lit up at night? If we did, I'd shut up about lack of height in Boston forever. Something a la the London Shard or the BoA Corp Center in Charlotte....

He's not wrong. A shame that the first renders showed a new crown-like top. Now we just get a few oddly-placed shoeboxes at the top. So Boston.

Not to be a Negative Nancy, but I'm disappointed at home this came out. I think the design is underwhelming and (sigh) ugly.

Are any of you genuinely familiar with this "park"? You make it sound like it was some beautiful place where children frolicked and ladies enjoyed summer picnics... I work here. Right here. I'm across the street now. This park was mainly frequented by homeless people, skateboarders and drug...

I agree with that. Also, I'm sad they took away the subtle illuminated "crown" that was in the initial render. Would have been a nice touch.

The newly built Old Colony Housing is nicer than most condos I've seen. Must be nice to live in new construction in the city of Boston for free/reduced rent.

It's also going to be incredibly small, subtle, and dim-lit, it doesn't really matter. Yet another dark tower that disappears at night. Let us pray for Winthrop Tower and some type of noticeable illuminated crown.
