One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

Yeah. A real beauty. https://www.usrtp.com/71/records/6/1bp7405.jpg

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

Is that the building with the ugly square box on top of it? I wish they'd make some type of crown or screen to cover that. Probably my most hated tower in Boston.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

SHUT UP and go away. This is a idiotic discussion to have. STOP.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

As someone who lives nearby, in person, the top is depressingly dark at night. It's a real shame there's no lighting at all. Makes the building look 50 feet shorter than it is.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Ugh. And to think I actually thought there was some update on South Station TOWER. Not fantasy train talk.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

It looks like it was recently reduced to 853'. Even so, something I'd kill for in Boston.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

That's a really great shot - I love it (but hate to think "what if" we got the original 775')

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Given that we have the darkest nighttime skyline in the world, I really hope the setbacks have some upward-pointing illumination.

Re: South Station Tower Ahhhh gotcha. Interesting!

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Re: South Station Tower I'm eager to see an actual news source confirm this. Also praying for perhaps a slight tweak to the design...

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

I'm excited for this project and can't wait till it gets built. If it were just a little bit thinner and a little bit taller, it would be *amazing*....

The Boulevard (née The Times/Littlest Bar) | 110 Broad St | Downtown

I know I'm late to the game, and admittedly I don't know much about this project. But I walked by it the other day and just wondered why this wasn't 2-3 times taller? For the location, it's just SO short!

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Anyone have any idea why it's taking so long to finish the top and cover that remaining 30'-40'?

Your overuse of the word 'tacky' is tacky.

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

I think a lot of people, myself included, really like the illuminated crown on the first render. They seemed to have gotten rid of it on the most recent render. Boston isn't exactly drowning in buildings that are well-lit at night. This would have been a subtle, elegant addition.

One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion | Financial District

    Yet another massive disappointment.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Totally! That Payless Shoes and the abandoned City Sports and the shady Jewelers are much, much nicer than a modern tower that would bring millions in revenue to the city and hundreds of jobs.

South Bay Center Expansion | Dorchester

Lipstick on a pig. They can put whatever they want in South Bay, but it's still going to be a nightmare experience. The only reason you should ever go to the Target or Stop and Shop in South Bay is if it's an absolute emergency and for some reason you have NO other options.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I get his point though. Compared to pretty much ANY major city, Boston is dim and dull at night. New York, Atlanta, wherever. Nicely lit crowns and projected light. Here? Our tallest? Pitch black at night.
