I understand that, but I was thinking more from a marketing perspective. Do you know how many rich dbags out there are obsessed with status and ego? ("Well, I live in the TALLEST building in all of New England. Where do you live? Oh, the Millennium Tower? That mid-rise? So passé.")

35' more and you have the tallest building in New England. As a developer, wouldn't you just go for it? Boggles my mind.

Agreed on the retail bit. Hopefully something "different" goes in there. I can't believe there's an Old Navy going in Millennium Tower. Apparently the Primark, H&M, Gap, Marshall's and TJ Maxx, all of which are a 30 second walk from each other, isn't enough.

The lady in the lobby told me she's ashamed to work there as it's such an ugly building, buy hey, a job is a job.

Sad. I was looking forward to a modified plan for this tower. It just needed a few design changes. Now it'll be lucky to be as tall as 45 Province Street.
