I still think it's a failure of planning/coordination that we did not get a nice line of parks all the way from Summer St to the harbor. It would've defined the space so much better. Instead we have kind of overlapping areas which might still work when all lots are built out, but more likely...

Cafe Nero opened today in Mariott Residence Inn on Congress. Now we have 4 coffee shops(Nero, Barringtons, DD and Starbucks) within 2 city blocks...

Yeah, I think having smaller buildings on the water's edge is not going to solve this uniform mass effect by itself, but also having taller buildings developed around Summer St. might....

Just came from Dublin on Aer Lingus - they added US preclearance in Dublin and Aer Lingus is coming to terminal C now....

Somebody mentioned this before and I wonder what people think of a gerbil tube from mall on top of the station to Copley Place. Normally, I don't like these as it's rarely eye pleasing and reduces street vitality, but in this case I think it might make sense.

While residential is pretty blah, station looks really good and office building is pretty cool, although I'd be interested to see a view from Copley which I could not find in the docs. It's a postcard Boston view after all. Overall - a huge win.
