Echelon Seaport | 133-135 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Seaport Parcels M1-M2 | Seaport Sq. | Seaport ^^^ Echelon might fit this time (questionable) - but it's not just a name for this development. It's a name for their brand: "Cottonwood Management’s $900 million-plus, three-tower development in the Seaport District will be the first bearing...

    Mixed Use | Wharf 8 & Pier 7 | Seaport

Speaking of marine park with its large expanse of nothing - I presume it's constrained by the requirement of marine related business only. What about try to move Coast Guard there from North End? The North End one is a prime parcel and Coast Guard is a maritime use. All we need to do is convince...

Exchange South End ( Boston Flower Exchange) | Albany Street | South End

I don't know about this. Kendall is served by Red line. Longwood is served (albeit not very well) by 2 Green lines. How do people get here? Walk from their South End homes? Or (more likely) use Melnea Cass?

They named it Terra. Perhaps Tetto would be more appropriate :)

Commonwealth Pier Revitalization (née Seaport WTC)| 200 Seaport Boulevard | Seaport

Re: Seaport World Trade Center To be Redeveloped? I think they should convert it into a 2-3 story shopping mall with harbor views.

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

The biggest thing I like about this plan is that it gets rid of Congress St overpass. While Seaport Hill might've been cool for the L block, I think it came at the expense of Congress and would've completely marginalized ground floors of P and O...

Copley Place Expansion and Tower | Back Bay

While air-rights is always going to be more expensive than clear ground, I assume the relative expense of the deck is probably the same now as it was in 2013. What changed however is labor availability and costs, which is obviously due to the large number of ongoing construction including Wynn...

Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

Re: Waterside Place 1B | 505 Congress Street | Seaport I hope that's not the only entrance. That portion of Congress is going to get very bad traffic quickly otherwise.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

While I agree that things take much longer than one would expect (Government Center station, Longfellow bridge etc.) - in this particular case I am with Massport. Primarily, I don't think it makes sense to invest a ton of money into a project with suspect ROI. It's my understanding that there...

Echelon Seaport | 133-135 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Seaport Parcels M1-M2 | Seaport Sq. | Seaport That would be awesome, but I am not so sure actually - that cranes looks very much like L2 crane before they put in a stationary one. I am suspecting Skanska just uses a portion of this parking lot for storage. Hope I am wrong...

    171 Tremont Street | Downtown

My point was that bringing up Saint Petersburg as an example of soviet style architecture is rather strange. And most cities are boring at best and usually just shit outside of their center. Boston included. As far this proposal is concerned I still think it's a very nice infill, even in...

    171 Tremont Street | Downtown

St. Petersburg Russia has an architecture of European imperial capital which it was for a couple of centuries and I find it absolutely amazing. It looks mush more like Vienna, Prague or Budapest than your stereotypical Soviet town.
