There is such a difference in materials from Phase I and Phase II. The lower portion looks like wet cardboard and the brick has no texture. It looks as if you could push in the windows with your hand. The brick is thicker than the bottom panels and juts out with no border. No simple...

In an area where there is loose soil and/or fill does building these concrete underground garages help to stabilize the ground in case of an earthquake? What about pilings that go down to bedrock? I would think that removing loose soil/and or fill and replacing it with concrete walls or...

I just saw a message board in the Lechmere parking lot stating that the lot will close permanently on June 22nd due to construction of infrastructure for the GLX and development in NorthPoint. Parking around the area is going to get a lot tougher.

There was also a long delay because of the tidelands issue. Part of the Northpoint property is where the Miller's River used to be before it was filled in. That required special permitting and the process dragged on. I don't recall any such issues with the Assembly Row development.
