    Twenty20 @ Northpoint | 20 Child Street | Cambridge

Thanks for the explanation. I live right near this building and look every day to see if any of the panels have been placed yet. We have a meeting with HYM to discuss what is going to happen with Lot U which is currently a parking lot for Tango and Sierra. It sounds as if the lot is going to be...

22 Water St | North Point Area | Cambridge

Re: 22 Water Str. (North Point Area), Cambridge, MA That Lechmere T Station is an eyesore. I suppose that people who stay at the Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn or the new Marriott under construction will see a map of the area and think that it is great to be so close to a T stop. I wonder what they...

22 Water St | North Point Area | Cambridge

Re: 22 Water Str. (North Point Area), Cambridge, MA With all of this new construction going on further down Monsignor O'Brien Highway I wonder how long before the Superior Nut warehouse, car wash and liquor store have been bought up and redeveloped? Even the Star Market got a rehab.

    Twenty20 @ Northpoint | 20 Child Street | Cambridge

Does anybody else use Image Shack? I could post photos with the old version but have tried multiple times to post to ArchBoston with the new version and the links do not work.

Thanks for your answer. It will be interesting to compare the two buildings once they are done.

I have a question about the siding being placed on Twenty/20 versus the Pier 4 Residences. They are going up at the same time and look very similar. However as depicted above Twenty/20 has aluminum (?) brackets placed then the insulation over that. I assume that next will come the panels. The...

I meant the Regatta Riverview residences which used to be called Museum Towers when it was rental units. That little convenience store caters to mostly residents in the Regatta towers.

That convenience store is OK for the Regatta but not for the rest of us. It is way too small. Whole Foods in Charlestown is a good walkable option especially when the Twenty/20 connection to the Gilmore Bridge opens. But a coffee shop or small take-out restaurant in NorthPoint would be welcomed...

Correct. I do live in the Tango building. Residents do shop at the Cambridgeside Galleria and eat at restaurants in Inman Square. People are looking for small retail such as coffee shops, dry cleaners, convenience stores, restaurants and maybe a gym. Maybe something unique would even draw...

Yes, I agree that we need more than just condos/apartments. The only retail so far is a small convenience store at Regatta. Twenty/20 is supposed to have some retail at the base. The new EF Building will have a restaurant. It will take years to build up a retail base. Also there has been nothing...

They do make a big difference especially since the land was empty previously. Have you driven from Charlestown across the Gilmore Bridge into Cambridge? Now there are 20+ story buildings on both sides of the bridge ( 2 Regatta Towers on one side and Twenty/20 and Archstone Apts on the other)...

There is a new crane in East Cambridge that I believe is for the apartments at 22 Water Street. I have a few photos to post but am having problems since they updated Image Shack. I cannot get them to post as before.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Re: Green Line to Medford to start in 2011 Could the orange stakes be the site for the GLX track footings? They continue right to the current elevated tracks. They also put up a sign right next to the stakes warning drivers to slow down due to construction.
