New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium K Circle needs fixing regardless of a stadium happening. In a perfect world it would be happening in tandem with the reconstruction of Morrissey Boulevard. Some striping of lanes and improved signage would improve K Circle immensely, but it...

    MBTA Construction Projects

Re: T construction news Does anyone know the history on the little underpass along the Ashmont tracks just South of the Savin Hill stop? The MBTA has been doing work on it for a while now. I'm curious what it's purpose is/was and what they're doing with it.

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium We're trying to move away from the football lines on a soccer pitch status quo. That type of thing is fine for amateur ball, but it really shouldn't be acceptable any more for top flight soccer in the US. Preserving the sanctity of the pitch is...

It was mostly marsh and cow pasture used by residents of Dorchester before it was completely filled in. Interestingly enough, the period of time when it most probably resembled a neighborhood was during WWII when Camp McKay existed. http://www.dorchesteratheneum.org/page.php?id=1448

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium The Bayside Expo site would be an amazing location. I dropped in a comparable stadium model that I found (Swansea's Liberty Stadium; capacity of 20,750). It's such a huge site...plenty of space left over for parking or what not.

Encore Boston Harbor Casino | 1 Broadway | Everett

Re: Wynn Everett Casino | Everett You'd think they'd go with a lighter glass since this is Massachusetts and not a 100°F desert.

The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: One Seaport Square | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport Ugh...do we really need more bland, corporate-inspired Mexican restaurants in the Seaport?

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

I think it does. All neighborhoods must have boundaries, otherwise they wouldn't be neighborhoods. Some boundaries are more fuzzy than others, but the Fort Point neighborhood is actually pretty rigid - both in its look/feel and its municipality-designated boundary. Fort Point development will...

    Artists for Humanity | 100 W. 2nd | South Boston

Although it looks more like a foot path in the rendering, I think the street is still there and the view is taken from the triangular parking lot across W 2nd Street.

Madison Park Infill | Melnea Cass Boulevard | Lower Roxbury

It looks like there's some sort of setback or property line 40 ft in from the street - the dashed line on figure 3.13? I'm curious what that is.

    Issue with "New Posts" functionality

This has been a long standing issue I've experienced. I'm not sure if it is just inherent in this version of the forum software or if it's something that can be fixed. When I click on New Posts it will show all the threads with unread posts like it's supposed to - but only once. Usually, I'll...
